I like the fact that this laser can be run off of different software (2 are included, one free and one trial). Regardless of the control software you use, the options are quite versatile. Something I really appreciated about the machine was how easy it was to put together. The provided instructions are clear. Packaging is VERY neat and tight. Something you should consider is getting or making an enclosure as lasers can burn materials and the fumes released can be pretty harmful if you inhale them. The unit itself is pretty basic, a motor spins two rollers, synced with the original control box. I can recommend if you're trying to engrave something that has some curvature to it.     • Way easier to set up than I expected
I've ordered accessories for my laser and 3d printers so many times, only to find that they come with little to no instructions and you have to do deep dives on message boards and youtube to figure out how they work. Absolutely not the case with this rotary! Came with very detailed instructions that are easy to understand and I had it up and running within 20 minutes. The roller adjustment is fairly simple and while I haven't used the stem holder yet I love that it's included - should be a huge help balancing oddly shaped objects for engraving! ... show more

    • Great rig
I've used a few rotary attachments for my engraver previously, but this one stands out as being the easiest. Assembly is typically a pain with most of these, but this one took about 5 minutes total, and it was up and running. It just plugs directly into my engraver (I have an Atomstack, but the plug is just the standard one for rotary attachments), and I was off and running. Adjusting the width of the rollers isn't as easy as I'd like, but it's also not as difficult as it is on other units. The additional support rack holds up the stems on wine glasses and such, which is a nice add. Overall, this is a pretty solid rotary rig, and it's the one I'm currently using on my engraver because it's consistent, fairly easy to use, and doesn't have any slippage. ... show more
