    • Wires was pulled out of the controller
I would pick another brand. I have a few of these bar strobes most of which have been pretty great. This one however I just got recently and I have already had some problems. The unit itself is starting to get loose and the LED bars wiggle around in the wind Just in the last week. I have noticed that the wires have pulled out of my controller. There is no cord relief built into the controller, and while I do have my controller stationarily mounted the wires were still able to fall out of the main control unit.     • Well made, very bright, Sturdy and visible
Purchased this for my snow plow set up, Had a previous light bar that the wire snapped off last season and made it impossible to repair. The cigarette lighter connection on the previous made for hanging wires in the way. This unit has the ability to go cigeratte lighter to power, but also comes with a different option for hardwire. Which i am very happy about and used to connect mine via fuse tap to drivers side fuse panel. Ran the wires as such added fuse tap to red wire, and ran from fuse tap in fuse panel to firewall out the trucks hood to a inclosed rubber wire hide on the drivers side window i also purchase from amazon that connects to the window by two way tape, then to the roof where the mount is set for the strobe light. The black negative wire i put to the ground strap for the hood of the truck. and ran the black ground the same way as the red power wire. and then the controller i used the included mounting hardware and mounted it on my trucks dask. and now no hanging wires all over the place everything is nice and neat and looks really good. the ability to have the option and included wire to hard wire it was a bonus i didnt know about when purchasing. Really good quality, has held up to 120 MPH. Over months of use the LEDS haven’t dimmed a bit! The only thing I wish I could change was when I turn the light bar on via the control panel, it holds a solid color and then goes into the modes, other then that good value, extremely bright, and from my experience is water proof. ... show more

Definitely pretty happy with the way it proforms. One down side I'm still working out is that it hums going down the highway. But I can all always just take it off when I'm going down the road.
