  • Only had it a few days, awesome monitor so far.
Style: 34" Curved 165Hz
I was Leary of the VA panel, but on a curved screen it works really well. I'm a developer so for coding and such the extra brightness ( 550 nits according to the ASUS website) is very helpful. My MacBook Pro is 550nits as well and side by side they seem to be either the same or so close I can't tell the difference. Played some steam games, Star Wars Squadrons, Halo , Unreal Tournament and a couple of the Warhammer games. It works flawlessly, no ghosting and being it's a VA curved monitor you don't get uneven , patchy viewing that you might with a flat screen VA. It has 2 hdmi, 2 DP and some other connectors. As advertised, for the price you can't beat this monitor. I've it about 6 days, I know it's renewed, so I'll do a follow up review in a few months. However so far, so good. ... show more

  • Great Amazon Renewed Experience
Style: 34" Curved 165Hz
This is my third Amazon Renewed purchase and this one has been great. Although its a refurb monitor I can't tell and it looks new. Zero dead/stuck pixels and picture quality has been good. The only complaint I have about the monitor is that there is a noticeable switching of the backlight intensity across the entire display when the image is mostly dark with a smaller brighter area (like an RPG where the character is in a dark cave with a torch lighting the area around them). Other than that I've been able to adjust picture settings to my liking. The only thing that was missing was an instruction manual. Setting it up was easy but a manual to tell me what the acronyms in the settings menu mean would have been nice. ... show more

  • Pretty Impressive?
Style: 34" Curved 165Hz
First and foremost, this is my first ultrawide monitor. So take my review with a grain of salt. Im very impressed with the monitor, it was a great deal. I was very skeptical thinking it was going to be terrible since it was so much cheaper than some other ultrawide monitors but i think its great! I have noticed SOME trailing behind the mouse as it moves but nothing to bad. It doesn’t work properly with G-SYNC, when i turned it on and it started to flicker brightness. I know its Freesync but i seen some people say it works and some say it doesn’t and for me it doesn’t. But overall its decent. I did buy a refurbished model that only lasted like 10 minutes, it turned on then half the screen turned blue. Ended up returning that one and getting a new one and ive had no issues since i got the new one Pros: -inexpensive -adjustable stand -decent user interface -decent colors out of the box Cons: -feels kinda cheap -trailing/shadowing Overall a decent monitor and worth the price ... show more

  • This 34" ultrawide curved monitor looks.....
Style: 34" Curved 165Hz
This 34" ultrawide 1500r curved monitor looks so small compared to my 32" curved one. Why is this? I was expecting a bigger monitor. So far I can't get my other monitor to run with this one. (at this point in time). However, the picture is sweeeeet and gaming is cool af. <3 I just got it last evening so didn't get to check it out til this morning. Great job for a refurb. =0) Still though, I thought it'd be bigger. ... show more

  • To bright on HDR.
Style: 34" Curved 165Hz
Great monitor. I’m coming from a 27 inch Asus MG279Q. I just can’t figure out HDR. You can’t change any monitor settings when using HDR. So, it’s a little bright for me. Also, my refurbished came almost perfect. The box wasn’t worn in or falling apart. The bag with every cord imaginable was intact. I went to attach the stand and couldn’t find any screws. Not really an issue but I found it weird. Someone must have really needed those screws. ... show more

  • Dead pixels. Little info in description for problems with display
Style: 34" Curved 165Hz
Description did not mention actual damage to panel which had some dead pixels. Misleading. Think I’d just pay full price and not risk it next time. A pretty big hassle considering how long I had to wait for it too.

  • Box looked like it was in a hurricane!
Style: 34" Curved 165Hz
The box and packing came in almost completely destroyed. Worriedly I opened the box and packaging and saw the monitor in fairly good shape and was relieved!!! I set it up, did some minor tuning, and got to gaming! This monitor worked great but there was a nagging sensation constantly. Then I noticed it. Right of center there is a group of dead pixels. Any dark game areas, and bright white pixels stare back at you. Maybe I'll go for a brand new one once I get the refund. Would be a 4.5 star monitor. Currently its a low 2 as the area where the dead pixels are is just right of center. I will upgrade my score accordingly with a new monitor. Edit: The original monitor also had some kind of loose connection in the right which would make the picture go inverted unless you put pressure on that area. On further inspection before return, it was clearly not treated well by the prior owner. Replacement will arrive this week followed by an update. ... show more
