  • Great Product! Gamer Approved!
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
I now have two of these monitors in my setup, and they’ve been awesome. I was finally able to get a second one recently, and right away I noticed something: the new one looked even better in terms of image clarity and color fidelity. That’s when I also realized that my first unit had developed a small spot of burn-in — a faint purple haze likely caused by my wallpaper and the overclock I have on it. It’s only visible on dark scenes and doesn’t affect daily use, but it’s something I didn’t catch until comparing it side by side with the fresh panel. Aside from that, both monitors are fantastic. The 280Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth, the Fast IPS panel has great color, and the OSD is intuitive. Adjusting the display profiles directly on the monitor makes a big difference — it’s easy to get the image dialed in just how you want it. The newer monitor has been flawless after 6+ months, and overall, both are holding up well, even with overclocking and daily use. If you’re looking for a responsive, high-refresh 1080p monitor with strong build quality, great i/o, and great visuals, this one is still one of the best picks out there. Highly recommend, especially for FPS and competitive gaming. ... show more

  • One of the best high refresh rate IPS monitors for Competetive Gaming.
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
I've had this monitor for a couple of weeks now and so far it's been great. No dead pixels, no stuck pixels, and no backlight bleed out of the box. Pros - - I'd done quite a bit of research before making this purchase and I can tell you it's definitely worth the sub $300 price. Even at $400+ this monitor would be worth it IMO. - The colors out of the box were great, no complaints there, although I'm no expert when it comes to color accuracy. Absolutely no backlight bleed either, which is common with IPS panels. I may have just gotten lucky in this regard though.. It's extremely bright as well, in fact I feel running it above 60/70 brightness to be TOO bright. - The stand is good quality, sturdy, and surprisingly versatile. I set it where I want it, and it stays there. - Response time/input lag are LOW! It has one of the best response times/input lag out of all of the newer "fast ips" monitors. It even competes with the response times/input lag of TN panels. At 280Hz and 80 OD, it measures at 1.7ms. I personally prefer 240Hz @ 60 OD, which is what you get out of the box, after setting 240Hz in Windows of course. But if you can consistently hit 280+ FPS in the games you play, I'd recommend 280Hz @ 80 OD. I haven't used ELMB, so I can't speak on that regard, but I have heard good things about it. I've also read that it can run 240Hz @ 10bit. Cons - The only con I can think of is the joy stick. While it is GREAT and makes navigating the menu extremely easy; it feels a little cheap. I haven't had any issues with it, but I worry how it may hold up over time. If you're like me and do a lot of competitive gaming and enjoy a nice picture with no ghosting/blur, I highly recommend this monitor. ... show more

  • Great quality and performance
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I already own an older model of this monitor... specifically, three of the smaller ones. I was looking to add more monitors for my wife’s setup. Since I was already familiar with the brand and liked the features of the previous model, we decided to go with these two monitors. They have very smooth height adjustment and rotation. As long as your setup can support it, the refresh rate is fantastic. We did run into some initial issues getting them to perform well, but that had nothing to do with the monitors themselves. Always make sure to check your computer for any manufacturer bloatware or power-saving settings that could drastically affect gaming performance. Now that everything is properly set up, they look great. They’re very bright, and the color depth is excellent. The monitors may look a little yellow in photos because my wife uses a blue light filter, but in person, the display quality is outstanding. Honestly, there’s no downside to these monitors. They’re absolutely awesome. ... show more

  • Brief review (since there aren't any as of me writing this)
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
- Good color accuracy out of the box. Didn't have to adjust much other than the obscenely high brightness that every monitor seems to come with nowadays. - ELMB is surprisingly good even though it seems to lock the overdrive. If I had to guess, it would be overdrive 60 since it's the default setting of the monitor. I had only heard bad things about ELMB from reviews on other models so I was glad to see it's at least a little bit useful here. - No grainy text or anything of that sort that plagued a couple of 24" models from the previous year. - Menu is easy to navigate and the OSD joystick is of good quality. - Really good heavy stand that can pivot, tilt, rotate, and height adjust. - The speakers are well, monitor speakers. If you've heard monitor speakers, you've mostly heard them all. Can't expect much from 2 watts. The option is there though. Also I'm not sure if this is a feature on every 240hz monitor since this is my first one but I found it interesting that Windows registered the panel as 10 bit color when below 240hz. For the people worried about 60hz performance, sorry. I don't have any equipment or the knowledge to give specific numbers. All I can say is that when I played on my PS4/Switch I didn't notice any excess input lag. All in all I highly recommend the monitor if you're on the lookout for a 240hz panel. The price ($319) is in my opinion really good when you take everything into account (IPS, 240hz, good build quality, ergonomic stand). I tried a 1440p monitor and didn't think the performance hit was worth the minuscule fidelity gain. If you're looking for a monitor you'll strictly use for gaming/browsing, I really think you're better off sticking with the tried and true 24"/1080p combo so that you can utilize higher frame rates and not have to worry about messing with Windows scaling to have easily readable text. It's also easier to utilize multi-monitor setups with smaller monitor sizes. If you need the extra real estate that 1440p/4k gives for multitasking, then probably already know what you want. Everyone has different needs. Edit: Since reviews for this model seem to have been consolidated with a bunch of other models, this is for "VG259QM". I know it should say above the review but I want to point it out here just to eliminate any possible confusion. ... show more

  • Good Monitor with some room for Improvement.
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
After a year, I could say it has been a good monitor, considering the price I paid for it (just $179.00). I like the image quality, the colors are very vivid, the actual functional size. It has great connectivity options and easy to configure. I like its G-Sync compatibility, zero issues on that matter, and the refresh rate of 280Hz makes all so pleasant to watch. I currently have it on a desk mount arm, but its original base and design is sober yet gamer oriented. I won't give it 5 stars because it is already showing some stuck pixels here and there, after just a year of operation. Never had that problem with any Samsung or LG monitor, but as I said before, it is offering a lot for less than 200 bucks, and the issue is still not noticeable on normal use, only visible when the screen is all black and if you look for it. It was a great Cyber Monday deal. ... show more

  • Pretty good monitor
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
I've been using it for a couple months now and I feel like this is good. I stayed 1080p because I did not want to lose FPS on a 1440p. The HDR is oversaturated or unnatural so I keep that off, but that is on most monitors anyways. "Turbo mode" on the monitor's setting can cause flickering so I keep that at a 0. You can run up to 240Hz without "overclocking" the monitor so I keep it at that and vsync in nvidia to 235 to avoid screen tearing. The monitor's height adjustment is great, build quality is great, and it looks good. My only gripe is the cable it came with seems cheap. I went ahead and got a 2.1 display port cable and all is good. The biggest plus is this is a IPS monitor, way better then TN or VA screen types. ... show more

  • Noticeable difference from 165hz!
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
This is a great monitor as I was looking for high refresh rate and stumbled upon this. After using it for a bit it feels silky smooth while the pixels per inch still remain at a good level. If you’re looking for a 1080p monitor then this is highly recommended for the price. Height adjustment is really nice too. ... show more

  • Great value
Style: 24.5" FHD 280Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
For a smaller desk this is a great size, I love the adjustable features of this monitor which makes it superior to others of the same size and quality. I use it for school and some gaming, but I also do have 27” 4k monitor that’s my main gaming one. Obviously the picture quality of this one is less but still looks very good especially for games like fortnite. Cod you can more so tell the difference but still completely playable and enjoyable,I think this is a great value for money and if you’re looking for a comfort ale monitor for work/school or gaming this’ll do it. ... show more
