  • Panels are inconsistent.
Style: 27" FHD 0.5ms 165Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust...
Have had this monitor for 2 years. I use it for both my pc and Xbox. I will evaluate how it looks on both of those separately. Pc: the colors are vibrant and consistent with both games and media consumption. I even use it to type things and the words do not look blurry. I haven’t noticed any ghosting or tearing with any of the games I play. For context play apex, Valorant and rpg games. They all look amazing. The only issue I have is the built in speakers. They’re very low even when at max volume so I suggest using a mic and connecting ur earbuds to that or using the headphone Jack on the monitor. Xbox: I have noticed ghosting when I watch Netflix or any videos I have no idea why but I’m gonna assume it’s bc Xbox caps things at 60fps. The image can be blurry at times with media consumption even if my net and such is fine. Games tho, those seem fine. Again Xbox caps at 60fps but I haven’t noticed tearing or ghosting when I play my console games. The colors look nice and consistent too. There is a difference in how the contrast, and richness of the colors look on xbox vs pc. I’d recommend this monitor for people with a pc since on Xbox the colors aren’t as bright and rich but they don’t look terrible. If on console I’d say use it for games only and not any media. For pc, I love it for everything. Price: I bought this in 2021 and it was $266 including taxes. I’d say it was worth it since it’s still going strong and I haven’t a dead pixel or anything go wrong with it. I will say, the panels are inconsistent. I bought my brother one two months after I made my purchase and his panel looked blurry and not rich in color. I’d say I got lucky and got one with a good panel. So it’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get a good one or a bad one. ... show more

  • Good for FPS shooters
Style: 27" IPS FHD 1ms 165Hz G-SYNC Height Adjust
to start with, this monitor is amazing and i still use it daily. however, the picture isnt as crisp as other monitors out there and when you're playing games where you really want to appreciate the graphics and environment you'll really see where the screen lacks. As for its performance i havent had any othe rmonitor match it. With 5000+ hours in rainbow six siege i can say for sure i saw a major improvement in reaction time and gameplay when i got this monitor. the high refresh rate lets you follow targets easier and with its ability to utilize both amd and nvidia vsync options you can make sure screen tearing is almost non existant. the built in option to use reticles for practicing helps with aim training and lining up your shots before you need to make a move. id recommend this monitor for competitive gameplay, but for the gamer who loves aesthetics id look for a monitor more suited for that. ... show more

  • Great Office Monitors
Style: 23.8" FHD 1ms 165Hz FreeSync Premium
Have been looking to replace our office and shop monitors for a while now. I have about 30 Asus Monitors that are more than 12 years old. Users do not necessarily notice the degradation in sharpness and colors. However, side by side with a new v. old monitor it is very obvious. So I will replace all the monitors for workers with bad eyes first and then all the monitors that tend to get a lot of sunlight. This monitor model is my new standard since it has 1) very easy to digest price point, 2) both HDMI and DP ports which match our new PC's that have 1 of each (Shuttle DH610S), 3) An OK speaker for those who do not wish external speakers (most) or those who use our wireless headsets. It is a nice easy to use monitor with big rear panel buttons, including a joystick type button that is great and is also VESA mountable for those with monitor arms. So again, this was the perfect combination for my needs and I am very happy with them. Purchased 6 so far and will probably go with another 6. ... show more

  • Great monitor
Style: 27" FHD 1ms 165Hz FreeSync Premium
Bought this monitor to game with my Xbox. It’s worked great for me, I like that I can change the type of brightness and color settings based on what game I’m playing such as, fps, racing, movie. It has monitor speakers witch are nothing special but they work good enough I’ve used them a handful of times. Otherwise just a standard monitor👍🏼 ... show more

  • Good Monitor
Style: 23.8" FHD 1ms 165Hz FreeSync Premium
This is the first monitor I've ever bought and I have very little knowledge about them, so take my advice as an ignorant person who is just seeking a monitor for light gaming and school work. I was skeptical to buy this monitor because of the ratings and a lot of persons receiving the monitor with dead pixels but mine arrived just fine! The colors are very vibrant, as you can see from the photo my laptop on the left and the monitor on the right. This is a good thing. The monitor comes with the volume set to 50% so you have to go into the settings to increase it to 100%, it's very decent and loud enough. Good sound quality. No issues with playing games. I play cozy games so it doesn't require much from a monitor. Cons: When I'm watching a video that's very bright, I kind of see faint black lines. I don't know if that's just an issue with my eyes or the monitor though lol It's not too noticeable. To get into the advanced settings by pressing on the circle button a the back is very sometimes-ish which is frustrating. in fact, the whole settings aspect of it is difficult to use. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase, I think this is good for the price I paid since it's considered a budget monitor. ... show more

  • Great motion clarity and sharpness
Style: 27" IPS FHD 1ms 165Hz HDR FreeSync Premium
Motion clarity is great, turn on ELMB only if you can get 165fps in a game, otherwise you get afterimages. Colors pop and look great but it needs tweaking of the RGB values out of the box, mine came very green tinged. Go to color temp in the settings. If you use windows 10, it has no color management so everything looks overstaurated, just adjust saturation on the monitor settings to fix that. Everything looks fantastic on this monitor, just go for it. ... show more
