  • Fantastic Size, Motion Clarity, Features, Etc.
Style: 38" 4K Fast IPS 144Hz FreeSync Premium Pro
This monitor is a slam dunk size. Perfect size for 100% scaling of 4k, almost exactly on par with a 27" 1440p or 21" 1080p. I had a XG349C 3440x1440 180Hz ultrawide before which I was a little worried to give up, but this 144Hz IPS is very fast. I'm not kidding that the motion clarity at 144Hz is notably clearer, and I had carefully tuned my 180Hz monitor before. I was a little worried if this would be RGB or BGR, given that larger displays for some reason tend to do BGR, but text clarity is fantastic, so it must be RGB. In fact I had no need to run the clear type utility. No red or green fringing. Now it takes a week or two to get used to the corners being far away on a large flat panel, especially coming from a curved monitor. Ideal a monitor this size should be slightly curved. But It's not to big of a deal. Having used this, I could probably get on board with a 42" 4K OLED TV if they ever make those 240Hz, since, they're probably never make another 38" again. No idea why companies don't try more things like this. I thought I was going to be annoyed with some of the port locations, but it ended up working out fine if not great. I have the power cable wrapped back towards the center and velcro strapped. I have a right angle adpater on the headphone jack, and the HDMI on the side wraps around fine enough. I was able to easily VESA mount it to my existing monitor arm. I was a little worried about the weight, but I cranked up the spring tension, and it's held fine for months now. Color is very good, again notably better than my previous ultrawide. It has ELMB SYNC, but honestly It's not very desirable, as much as I love backlight strobing. Way too much red fringing and image doubling. it's only good for about 1/3 of the display, whether you adjust to optimize top, middle, or bottom. All in all, I'm very happy I finally pulled the trigger on this, I was getting a little frustrated with always adjusting games and other things on my ultrawide after 10 years of ultrawides. I really liked the accessory pouch it came with as well. ... show more

  • A truly visually transformative experience
Style: 32" OLED Dual Mode(4K 240Hz/FHD 480Hz) G...
This review is for the ASUS ROG Swift 32” 4K OLED Gaming Monitor (PG32UCDP) size and version. Absolutely stunning, experience altering is the only way for me to describe this monitor. The combination of OLED, 4k, HDR, and 240hz is the best visual experience so far and truly a visually transformative experience. This monitor is dual mode and has an FHD 480hz mode that I couldn't figure out how to get it to work, but I don't have a "need" for it and won't probably use ever. I think the issue might be related to how my GPU sends a 4k signal even though I set the resolution to 1080p. Since I won't use this feature, I won't be troubleshooting it further. 4k at 240hz is plenty good enough for me in competitive FPS games as a casual player. Playing "CS2" at 4k 240hz on an OLED with HDR enabled felt like seeing a whole new game. Coming from my previous monitor, 4k IPS at 144hz is saying a lot. For open-world triple A games, this OLED monitor is end-game level. I had considered going 1440p ultrawide but after some research found that there was limited game support for that type of resolution and for my use case 4k 32 inch would be a better fit. Do note that I am running this monitor with an RTX 5090 GPU and use my PC for both gaming and desktop work. For desktop work, again this monitor is amazing. With other 4k monitors I have found that at native 4k resolution with 100% scaling my eyes struggled to focus on text, sort of like a camera motor and text appeared to almost vibrate is the only way to describe it. With this Asus PG32UCDP, I see text clearly and my eyes have no problems focusing at native 4K with 100% scaling. At 100% scaling text is tiny but comfortable to view. I use the 4k resolution and 100% scaling all of the time for both gaming and work. Normally with other 4K monitors I have to use 150% scaling. The only downside for me is the default OLED brightness management can be a bit aggressive if you're not used to it. The screen will dim slightly after a few seconds if there is a static image detected. In conclusion, 4k OLED and 32 inch size is optimal for me and is the most visually pleasing and comfortable. This monitor excels in every aspect and is worth the price. The price is high but to me is worth the value. I did buy this monitor on sale during Prime day. I'm not including any pictures because it will not accurately reflect the monitor's performance and experience. Highly recommended if you are in the price range of this monitor and want the best visual experience for both desktop work and gaming. ... show more

  • Grandes virtudes para diseñadores y gamers, pero con detalles que decepcionan.
Style: 28” Fast IPS 4K 144Hz G-SYNC
... show more
