This monitor is insane. I've purchased it solely for gaming, replacing an older LG 2K, 165HZ, TN panel with 1ms response time. If you're on the fence or contemplating it, stop it. Add to cart. Now. Games I have tested this monitor on (PC): The Last of Us 2: Remastered, Dying Light: The Beast, Star Wars: Battlefront II, Diablo 4, Path of Exile 2, Warframe, Warhammer 40K: Darktide, The Division 2, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora * Not only is this monitor 240HZ with G-Sync, it also has built in VRR which is Variable Refresh Rate. Think of this as variable V-Sync. If you are familiar with V-Sync and the importance of having your FPS get as close to your monitor's refresh rate as possible, you'll know that if your FPS drops too low from the refresh rate, it begins making your screen look choppy as hell. VRR fixes this. Let's say you drop down from 240 FPS to 100 FPS for a few seconds due to a big fight or something, the VRR basically adjusts your refresh rate to 100 on the fly to ensure image stability. Paired with G-Sync, this completely removes screen stuttering in my experience. This is huge. * This monitor has built-in anti-flicker. Absolute necessity on QOLED's when doing some high end gaming. Works flawlessly, easy to control from the physical monitor knob, you can choose moderate or aggressive. Zero impact on performance. * If you're wondering if a 1ms to 0.3 difference is worth the purchase, hell yes it is. Might not seem like a big reduction, but when you see it live, there's zero hit in animation transition when turning your camera. The fluidity improvements are difficult to describe without seeing it, but coming from someone who has gamed nearly 10 years on a 1ms response time, seeing the difference for the first time was pure eye candy. * This is a 4K monitor, I came from a 2K monitor. I didn't purchase this monitor with 4K being important to me, it was just nice to have. I game in 2K resolution because I want the most FPS to meet that 240HZ refresh rate. Through your graphics card software, you can easily have your desktop at 4K while your games are set to 2K to get the biggest return on FPS. Alt tabbing from a 2K game to a 4K desktop is also very smooth. * HDR is fantastic. Cheaper monitors will try to shortcut HDR support, the colors will be dull and the blacks will be trash. This is true HDR implementation with plenty of control settings for different variations of HDR. Every game I've played with HDR support looks breathtaking and doesn't cause any fuss when I turn it on. On older monitors that say they have HDR support, like my LG, you would turn it on in-game and would have to do an insane amount of tweaking both through Windows and in-game gamma settings to eventually decide to just keep it off. Not with this monitor. * If anyone is telling you this monitor isn't bright enough, they're wrong. It's a god damn spotlight in your face. It's so bright, I had to bring it down to 40-45 brightness to ensure my eyeballs don't explode. Highly recommend this brightness value for long gaming sessions. * A ton of built-in monitor protection to avoid burn-in. Probably 10-12 settings total. It's clear they take burn-in protection seriously and the settings are not intrusive while using your rig. A cool feature I like is hiding your Windows taskbar when not in use. Good for avoiding burn-in, but also just cool to have it be interactive when I need it. There's also new blue light technology built-into the monitor that reduces harmful rays makes it so you do not need to wear blue light glasses for protection during long sessions which is great. * For those that are wondering if you can see the difference from 165 HZ to 240 HZ, absolutely. For me personally, I've gotten up to 240 FPS on Warframe and around 200 FPS on Last of Us 2, the difference is real and just insane. In combination with the new 0.3 response time, this feels like the highest tier of desktop gaming you can experience. You know those game launch reveal trailers with no HUD and you always know the game will never look like that? This monitor (with the right rig of course) makes that a reality. * If you're coming from a TN panel or anything other than an OLED, because I've never used an OLED other than my TV, it's going to feel like you were previously gaming on a dirty, fuzzy, dusty, blurry monitor and that you can't believe you didn't do this sooner. The colors are pristine and the black is true jet black. It feels like you're looking into a straight up portal into another dimension in most games. If you've played a game for years, this monitor is going to make you feel like you're playing it for the first time again. Quit biting your nails looking over monitor options, this is the one. As someone who games pretty much every day of my life, this monitor has brought new excitement and more immersion to my gaming sessions. Although we all wouldn't mind this being much cheaper, it's definitely worth the price tag.

This monitor is a massive upgrade for any high-end setup, and the 4K QD-OLED panel delivers some of the best visuals I have ever seen. It feels incredibly sturdy and well put together, which you would expect at this level. The slim profile and the LED logo on the back give it a very cool, modern look. The 240Hz refresh rate makes everything feel buttery smooth. Having DisplayPort 2.1 is a huge plus since it allows for full bandwidth without needing compression (*with DP80 cables). The blacks are perfectly black, zero bloom around white text, and the colors are vibrant right out of the box without needing much tweaking. I also really appreciate the OLED Care features, especially pixel cleaning reminders and the new proximity sensor that dims the screen when you walk away to help prevent burn-in. It is a smart touch that adds peace of mind when using an OLED for daily tasks. The stand allows for plenty of adjustment, though it does take up a bit of desk space, so a monitor arm might be a good call for smaller desks (I bought the ROG arm made for this monitor and it's incredible). Overall, it is an absolute powerhouse for both gaming and media.

Purchased this because I had been running 1440p for so long I wanted to see how much better OLED and 4K were. WOW! Right from turning on the screen I noticed SHARPNESS and vivid colors. In game, what I used to see as blurry became sharper. To top it off, with DLSS, I was getting similar performance with a sharper picture. I can’t see my self going back to 1440p or anything less than OLED. This monitor is fantastic and along with pixel refresh and the proximity sensor, I’m not even worried about OLED burn in. I bought this right when the PG32UCDM3 came out, but unless you play in a incredibly bright room, I’m perfectly fine with this monitor and with gentle wipes from a microfiber towel, have not noticed ANY scratches. Just buy it and you’ll love it.

When I play a game suddenly it starts to flicker. No idea why and no time to research. But in general it’s amazing, the resolution looks great. I can connect with Mac Book pro to work and I switch the connection easily with Windows PC. The size is as expected because I have another screen monitor that fit perfectly on my desktop.

I upgraded from FV43U to PG32UCDMR. I use the monitor mainly for HDR gaming and some productivity. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. Text in documents is clear and crisp. Something worth noting, if you use it in an area with a lot of ambient lighting, it may raise black levels and give a purple tint to dark areas. I play in a room with a lot of ambient light (2 patio glass doors) but no direct light onto the monitor, blacks look inky and colors pop. Some VRR flicker during loading screens but none during gameplay. I've updated the monitor firmware and enabled OLED Anti-flicker to medium setting; it seems to be working with no undesirable negative affects. I've only had the monitor for a few days, I will update my review with additional input but so far it's a great purchase! First I should say I’m happy to own this monitor. Endgame? Yes, It’s literally one of the best monitors you can get off the market. I love glossy, this is semi glossy. For you people that are unsure if you want to do matte or glossy, this is a great middle ground. I’d actually prefer this to be more glossy like the other one but this gives people options. That screen glare reflection crap doesn’t bother me one bit. My window isn’t near my monitor, my lighting is on point, also even if it wasn’t this being semi gloss would help that out a lot. Now I was in a cross battle between getting the best Samsung monitor that competes with this or this and ended up getting this. DP 2.1 was needed and I wanted that glossy. Glossy is a must for your boy. One thing I don’t like about this monitor in my opinion is that it’s not bright enough for me. You pay over a band for this thing and the brightness could be better, a least give the option. I think most wouldn’t complain about the brightness. Just me nitpicking but it’s a worthy nitpick. The control knob thing works easy, it definitely does what it says it does. I’m going to desk mount it. Remember to use distilled water to clean this. Don’t jack up your monitor! Not that I did, I just watch a lot of YouTube videos lol.
