I have never used a monitor that is above 60hz before, however I am very into competitive games such as Rocket League/Apex/Overwatch/etc. I have over 3k hours in Rocket League and it is the most noticeable improvement to any game I have because it runs pretty much over 200fps without any issues. It is so much easier to react to both your personal movements, as well as being able to predict where the ball will be faster. 50/50's are so much different, I feel like I have a huge advantage at knowing where the ball will be based on being able to see more of the ball during collisions. A+ would recommend. The colors however are not great if you are doing any kind of design work. If you cannot get more than 200fps in some of your favorite games, it might be worth going to a 4k 155hz monitor or whatever for better resolution in non-gaming applications. ... show more

Decided to add a second monitor to my setup for my birthday. Originally went with the Asus MG28UQ to go with my Asus MG24UQ which I have mixed feelings about. I actually thought they were the same monitor until it arrived. I decided to return it and get myself something with a 240Hz refresh rate as I've been playing more games lately. I almost went with a PG258Q for G-Sync until I noticed at the last second Nvidia now supports FreeSync. Turns out I even don't need any kind of Adaptive Sync anyways. I don't experience any screen tearing without it. Anyways, it is an amazing gaming monitor. Not the greatest at movies and videos or editing photos. I use my 4k monitor for that. No backlight bleed. No screen burn (yet). No ghosting. Extremely happy that I exchanged monitors. Highly recommend. ... show more

Great monitor with nice colors. 240hz feels so smooth. This is G sync compatible so there’s none of that tearing. If you want to get the actual g sync one, get the pg258q. I didn’t know the difference between the two but still a good purchase. The Pg258q is 100 dollars more. And the stand is pretty big so make sure you have space for it. ... show more

    • Best 240Hz Gaming Monitor with G-Sync Certification

This monitor is a really great option for high refresh rate and it adds the ability to have G-Sync with the new firmware update from Nvidia. I am very impressed with the quality of the monitor. The RGB light on the back seems really dim, but I didn't buy it for that feature so I didn't mind. It is only 1080p and it is a TN panel, so viewing angles are terrible. You need to sit directly at eye level with the screen or adjust it to be square to your eyes. Luckily the adjustments this monitor has are great. It has great height, tilt, and rotational adjustments. The stand is a little wide, so it would be nice to get a VESA mount for it since it has that option. I have not regretted this purchase one bit. If you wanted a cheaper option, 144Hz might not be too bad, but at this price, it was worth it coming from a 60Hz display! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First off i will tell you all good reviews well number one the pictures quality and brightness on this monitor is insanely flawless it looked so pretty and it is crystal clear as diamond the peformance of it is amazing ! In games perfect color so awesome color mode in scenery mode and the ms of 1ms monitor has the fastest reactions times for fps games and slow pace games as well. Everything was perfect Three things that bothers me the most and there one that bothers so freaking bad that i almost lost my mind ! Top number 1 is vertical line issues you will see it when you are gaming you will noticed it and it annoys you so much that p*sses you off! 2.) is a red back light bleeds out i am not so sure if there is a defectives one or not i really cannot tell at all ! But you know how you look at your iphone with 110% pure white and then u look at the monitor you end up seeing a bit of pink instead of 110% white which is really aggravating. I had did a few adjustments to get it so close like the old monitor i used to have and it was more in the pain in the A**. 3.) The flickering issues is so much aggravating so frustrating than not able to figure it out on a math class test fractions you see it all over even in gamings its really bad I did order for an replacement and see if its the same or not and i opened up the replacement got it going and the vertical lines seems kind of bit better than original one and its lot less brightness which is a little weird and compared it and kept the replacement for about a week then the vertical lines all came back where it started. I strongly not recommended you buying this monitor or any kind of other monitors from any kind of website shopping because i do not trust the shipping handling of how rough they treated it with it during the shipping to your house i advise u to buy it from a store which is much easier and you knowing what the hell it looks like! ... show more

    • Very HQ Monitor w/ Only 1 Exception

The monitor was easy to setup with the help of a youtube video since the manual wasn't descriptive enough. The monitor came with a HDMI cable as well as a DisplayPort Cable. The DisplayPort Cable was dead in my case and didn't work at all and I got No Signal messages on my monitor. After I ordered a new one it worked perfectly with my GTX 1080. G-Sync worked perfectly and 240hz gaming was spectacular. Surprisingly the monitor is lightweight compared to the others I've held. Perfect monitor for gaming if only I didn't have to spend an extra 2-3 days buying a new displayport cable. ... show more
