  • A real bargain.
Style: 23.8" FHD USB-C HDMI DP Daisy-chain Pattern Name: Monitor
I hate setting up new electronics gear as a rule. Primarily because after I turned 65 my eyesight acuity and my dexterity are going downhill..not to mention a few other things.....but that for another day. Nevertheless, this monitor was very easy to set up and get operational in under an hour. Some young whipper-snapper could probably do it in half the time..one of life's cruel realities. The ease of repositioning the screen is a big plus. However I chose this monitor for its compatibility and interface with Apple products. The interface between this monitor and my 2022 MacBook Pro was instantaneous and seamless via Thunderbolt. It delivers both audio and video from the one connection. HDMI is another option also available. The color adjustments were simple enough to make. This screen is perfect for editing and music creation using Logic Pro. Also the 24" screen is just large enough for my visual needs but compact enough not to take up all the space on my desk. It also has a USB hub built into the unit which is handy if you need to hook up an audio interface,an external hard drive, or a drum pad for beats. Plus they provide a quality USB-C cable and (2) HDMI connector cables. But best of all is the price. After shelling out the cash it took for an Apple MacBook Pro with the new M1 Pro chip design .....I wanted a good monitor that would pair up well but wouldn't break the bank. This monitor delivered that plus a whole lot more for the money I spent. And...I call that a bargain...the best I ever had. ... show more

  • The Color Will Pull You In!
Style: 24.1" IPS 16:10 1920x1200 DP HDMI D-Sub Pattern Name: Monitor
I have owned this monitor for over 6 months now. I Love it! This is no Gaming monitor since it only has 75 hertz for refresh rate. This doesn't mean you can't game on it as long as it's not FPS games that require high refresh rates. Where this monitor shines is in content creation and video watching. The colors are fantastic. They just pop out at you! They are vibrant and amazing. If you are a video editor or photo editor this should fit your needs. I have been in front of this thing for 8+ hours daily and there is no eye strain. You can adjust colors, brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, gamma, and the color temp inside of the menu. The Menu is outdated it seems. Yet, this monitor is under 300 bucks. 1920x1200p is a good start for anyone who wants to get out of 1080p. I know 4k is the new thing right now but the image looks so artificial. The build quality on this thing is nice as well. It doesn't feel cheaply made. Asus always makes some top-notch gear. I even plan on getting the 1440p version which is only like 80 bucks more when it's not on sale. I highly recommend this monitor for content creation or in a work environment. ... show more

  • Great all rounder for gaming and media creation.
Style: 32" IPS QHD 165Hz C-clamp USB-C Pattern Name: Monitor
Love the feature set, especially for the price. All that’s missing is a KVM. A remote would have been nice as well as reaching over the desk to change settings has never been ideal. This display is extremely versatile though, can do gaming and can easily hook up my MacBook or iPad for some productive work. The built in speakers are nothing to write home about but they are there in a pinch. The few things this display don’t do aren’t deal breakers to me. ... show more

  • No Calibration Software!
Style: 23.8" FHD USB-C HDMI DP Daisy-chain Pattern Name: Monitor
I wanted to write this and let everyone know that these monitors really are very good. They come with all the cabling you will need and are very adjustable. I bought them for the PhotoShop work that I do and wanted something that was color calibrated, which I'm sure they are. However, I was under the impression that the monitors would come with software that would allow you to recalibrate the colors. They DO NOT come with this. I have created an account on the ASUS website and registered both of them, and went to the downloads section of this model and other models of the ProArt display... it's NOT there. I have also put in a chat support ticket with one of their reps. I was told basically to go buy a 3rd party calibration tool. I already have a Spyder, but I picked these up because I thought they had their own calibration software either built-in or downloadable. This is not the case. You can even Google around and find articles that show you how and where to download these tools, those pages are gone. If I am wrong, I hope an ASUS rep reaches out to me and shows me where to get their software. ... show more

  • Excellent picture quality
Style: 24.1" IPS 16:10 1920x1200 DP HDMI D-Sub Pattern Name: Monitor
PRO: Picture quality/color--both are great for what I do. I am not a gamer, so I cannot comment on that. Power & adjustment buttons are on the front at the bottom edge of the monitor, so no more fumbling on the side and guessing if I am hitting the right button. Substantially heavy base. Easily adjust height. Full use of the screen, aproximately 1/4" black frame. FAST. CON: Hard copy user manual not included. Cord is standard 6', wish it was longer. Accessory/cable panel is behind and located under a shelf, so not easily visible--you have to tip the monitor forward, which is heavy and awkward. Great monitor for the price. ... show more
