There was some much-needed humor for us in using Amazon Prime to buy an urn for a dear family member. And also a bit of trepidation, that it might not feel high quality, or might have workmanship flaws that would necessitate our returning it - and then what?? However, it arrived and we are really glad we chose it - it’s beautifully made and well-packaged for protection, so no scratches. We had to dispense with the cardboard box the ashes were in, but thankfully they were in a plastic bag inside the cardboard box, and we were able to fit the plastic bag into the wooden box (ashes from an adult of 200 lb). I’d recommend, when you unscrew the base, to keep track of which screws went in which holes. We mixed them up at first, and thought the holes had somehow been stripped in the process of removing the screws - they would no longer screw in securely! But we rematched the screws, and then it worked perfectly. Very satisfied with this purchase, and the style is much more to our liking than any urn options through the nursing home, or really anything else on Amazon. Thank you! ... show more
