Amazing wide-toe shoes. I purchased these for rowing and will never go back. I started taking walks and wearing them more often out and about (to improve foot and leg strength). They came with extra shoestrings and soles, WOW! They are lightweight, comfortable, and have a great grip.

These shoes are fanTASTIC! They are super comfortable and they look really well made. Mine came with extra shoe laces and a 2nd set of orthopedic insoles with more arch support. When i first saw a set of shoelaces on top of the shoes (covered by tissue paper), I thought i was going to have to lace them myself. Nope, they came laced, as they should, but they lace pattern was way snazzier that I was expecting, to the point I was taken back. I had also understood this product as zero drop = removed insoles, otherwise they had othopedic insoles. I just misunderstood. I have a quality pair of barefoot shooes with 2 different interchangeable insoles and an extra pair of laces. They look great, feel great, and were a hell of a deal! 5 stars π π πππ

Solid pair of shoes for the price. I was a bit hesitant at first to imagine that these shoes would be as good as they were for the price of $40. I have had a lot of issues with shoes having a tight toe box and these are a game changer. I initially bought the shoes at 9.5 which is what I usually wear, however they were a bit longer than what I was expecting. After sizing down to 9 they fit amazingly well. The upper material is super breathable and I've been wearing them almost daily and they are amazingly comfortable. The lower is really thin with the zero drop and you can feel everything below your feet but still be comfortable knowing that you're protected. I would highly recommend these as a gateway into barefoot shoes. A great little plus is that they came with an extra set of insoles as well as extra shoe laces. They look great with just about any outdoor outfit and they kept me cool in the Texas heat while out fishing and hiking in the sun.

Starting with the bad news: I ordered a size 9 (42) and they sent me a size 8.5 (41.5). The shoe box was marked size 9 so this is a screwup somewhere in the vendor's supply chain. Fortunately they aren't a returned/used item...everything looked new and was packaged nicely. They kinda fit my size 9 wide and high-arch feet, so I haven't decided to return them or not. Minus 1 star for that error. The good news: I bought these as a more stable shoe for the gym (lifting, rowing machine, etc) and I'm happy with that. The sole is absolutely minimalist, probably 1/4" thick and flexy. So things like leg press feels really stable. They're comfortable for wear-around-the-house shoes, but I don't see myself trail-running in them. You'd have to already be a 'barefoot' oriented runner to run in these. The molded-in plastic bits provide slightly more support around the arch, and I'm really happy with the heel cup (nice and stiff). The sole provides good traction, and there's enough height around the edges to keep your feet dry if you're walking through puddles or mowing a wet lawn. I like the style, as opposed to always wearing running shoes around all day. Pricing is a little higher than I expected for a Chinese shoe I might otherwise find on Aliexpress. Bonus: They included spare insoles for higher arches. They are trim-to-fit so I haven't tried them yet. 3-months later: I returned the 8.5 to size 9, and these fit nicely (true to size). I was excited I'd be able to bump up to 5-stars, but the new set of shoes have a cosmetic problem. It seems that where the plastic parts of the uppers cement into the rubber sole, they create a discoloration that's a purple color (per the photo). Really lame. The first pair I received didn't have this problem. So I can only assume this was a manufacturing process difference that could be batch-related. Some kind of chemical/adhesive reaction.

These shoes are amazing. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit right and these fit perfect. The wide toe box makes them super comfortable and they also came with extra insoles and laces, which was a cool surprise.

I wanted to try a zero drop shoe with an open toe box without spending the atrocious amount of money on they "trendy" brands just as an introduction and an all around, do anything shoe. The Astivo delivered on that front, slipping them on is like throwing a sock on, super simple and incredibly reasonable comfort considering the flat rubber base. Also included are two different in soles. One pair for flatter feet and one in you have more pronation and arch support. The shoe allows for a more natural barefoot movement, aiming for engagement out of your calves and overall posture, which during short walks is nice to not have the extra cushion to lean into giving me more feedback from my muscles and their limits. The main purpose I bought them was for bike riding, which they work great on Mtb pedals with the honeycomb grip, like a skate shoe really. But with minimal to no cushioning in the mid sole, toes tend to go numb after a few miles riding, but I attribute that to my foot position. Overall it's a comfortable shoe for the easy going that doesn't over complicate anything. It's there, and it works. Diving deeper, I find myself favoring the Astivos more and more. For walking, road trips, and general use. It's probably not a shoe I'd run in, however these really encourage better posture for me and offer lightweight flexibility. And if you're on the fence on this particular type of shoe, this is a great starting point.

Iβve been wearing these shoes for 4 months now. I walk, run, workout, and ruck in them. Overall the feel is good and comfortable. They have yet to start wearing out butβ¦ I the back has a sharp plastic piece that has begun to bend in at the top and cuts into my ankles. Itβs quite unfortunate too because I love these shoes and they otherwise have so much life left on them. I will be trying out a different brand now.
