    • Sizing is off from previous gel venture models.
I’ve ordered six pairs of these recently, starting with the Gel Venture 6. Size 9.5 always fit perfectly. Now 9.5 is just a bit too small and a 10 is just a little too big. The 9.5 looks and wears better but the 10 is much more comfortable.

I have small, wide feet. I used to wear New Balance, but I've switched over to Asics and Saucony. I've mostly used these shoes for everyday wear. I bought them in 2020, and they've only wore down in the toe area. They kept catching, so I plan on buying new shoes after writing this review. I've received many complements on my shoes. They have eye-catching accents, but because the rest of the shoe is black (black with seafoam green and orange accents), they can be worn with many outfits. TDLR: Good for wide feet. I worked in a major hospital walking 6-8 miles nightly in a 12 hour shift. These shoes are the only one that held up while still being comfy! The gel is amazing. Very durable shoes with excellent value for money. I got them on sale for like 45 bucks I believe. Excellent performance and lasted well over a year before my big toe started rubbing a hole in the top of the shoe ( I have this issue with every tennis shoe). Size was very accurate. As someone with pain in my feet and a need for support, this shoe was a lifesaver. Far superior than other sneakers in support and protection (well cushioned).

    • Good but a little tight
I purchased these shoes solely (haha pun not intended) to wear around the house. I almost completely stopped wearing shoes in 2020 - because who leaves the house these days? My feet were getting really beat up walking around on hard floors all day, so I decided to get a new pair of shoes that I would wear exclusively indoors. The brand I usually order was no longer available on Amazon, so I tried these on a whim. They are well-made, matched the description, cute, and do the trick. The length of the shoe is accurate as is the width of the heel, but the toe area (width) is very tight (not exactly comfortable). I'm fine wearing them to walk around at home, but if I had purchased them for exercising or going out and about, they would probably be too uncomfortable, bordering on painful. I'm still giving these a 3 (which I consider a good score, just not great or excellent) because of that. They are size wide, so that shouldn't have been an issue. But I also realize my feet may have changed more than I realized during my year of no shoes. If width isn't an issue for the upper half of your feet, then I'm sure they'll work great and you'll love them. ... show more
