I walk a lot and finding comfortable, supportive, durable shoes is a problem. The reviews said these were true to size, had a roomy toe-box, offered support an a gently rocking motion, and were light weight. All true, although the toe-box isn't really all that roomy.     • Great comfortable shoe
I loved the color of them, but am very happy with the quality. Very comfortable and there is a lot of cushion to keep the heel of your foot protected. I have plantar fasciitis and these are very good for me.

I did not know there was a difference between a walking shoe and a running shoe. This walking shoe is lighter and the toe turns up. It is not difficult to walk in the shoe, in fact I feel it is very comfortable. I walk my dogs over a mile and a half each day on sidewalk. These shoes were beautiful. They look just like the picture. Unfortunately, that includes the way the toe of the shoe does not touch the floor. When I tried to walk in these shoes, it was the strangest thing. Usually, we walk heel / toe. With these shoes, you don’t. You walk heel to the sole of your foot, but the toes don’t ever touch the ground. Weirdest feeling shoes I’ve ever tried to walk in! ASICS used to have wonderful walking shoes. They were lightweight. The bottom of the shoe was maybe 1/2 inch thick, but they still provided adequate arch support. I was hoping these shoes would be similar to the ones that have been discontinued. No such luck! So, fit: I chose the exact same size as I used to wear in ASICS. Quality: they seem to be well made. Color: beautiful Comfort: comfort is fine, as long as you don’t try to walk in them, which, you know, is kind of the purpose of a pair of shoes. If you don’t mind that your toes don’t touch the ground, they might be fine for you. Not my thing by any means! Value: if you can’t walk comfortably in them, they’re worthless.     • worst running shoes I ever bought
These were supposed to help with stability but they do not. The feet just slide around in all the squishiness of the inserts. There is no stability to the foot when wearing these. I tried them for a few months now, wearing them off and on to see if they were getting "better", but they are still very unstable and not able to be worn anymore by me. I have gone back to my Brooks brand and will not ever buy asics gel again. I would like to return them but it is past the 30 days so now I'm just stuck with a pair that I bought at full price and cannot wear. ... show more

I really like these shoes but needed to order up a half size. I wear 9 in most but the less expensive models I needed to go up...great for walking and comfortable but order up people..
