I have all three variants of this pant and the bay variant being made in Bangladesh is the highest quality of all three variants however now attempting to buy more that specifically call out country of origin as Bangladesh they are also now made in Mexico with a slightly worse quality denim, not to say that the quality of denim is bad, it is a decent quality thinish denim it's just that the Bangladeshi denim is slightly "better"... that said the map pocket on these carhartts are the only ones of my jeans that will hold my full size slide out pliers Gerber multi-tool fully down in the pocket and keep it out of my main side pocket and not dig into my flab... That said the Bangladeshi ones ripped the crotch out today in the back pocket rivets are starting to show some thread bearing so maybe it's just a thinner denim Mexican ones still going strong

These are heavy duty pants! I waited to review for a few weeks until they had broken in (they do need to be broken in). At first they were a bit tight, but broke in well and are now VERY comfortable. I'm expecting these to stay nice for a few years before being relegated to "workin' on the house" jeans.

Since several years back Carhartt has noticeably gone down hill. The stitching quality was the first thing I noticed. Pant purchase after pant purchase I was finding stitching failures. But then I realized when I ordered 3 pairs of the same size and type of Jean, that they were all different sizes. I wear a 30Wx30L and theirs are more like a 28Wx30. So when I tried again this time and the 30Wx30L were too small again I replaced them with 31Wx30L which were even smaller! I'm so displeased with the nosedive in quality and consistency. I'm not saying I know the reason why, but when they went woke, it seemed like right around that time when I started noticing the problems. This most recent pair was the final straw. I'm done with Carhartt for good.
