The new JOLT 4 shoe is designed to help you run or walk more comfortably. This shoe combines an AMPLIFOAM midsole with a solid rubber outsole for improved durability. Drawing inspiration from our longstanding GT series, this trainer offers classic styling and a great fit. To make this edition even softer and move with your foot better on the run, we have engineered more flex grooves in the outsole. The upper is reinforced with stitch down overlays. Lastly, a more accommodating forefoot fit and a soft ORTHOLITE sockliner will help keep you stay comfortable throughout the day.

The upper part is made of stiff fabric, a first with ASICS and the back rubs against the bottom of my ankle. Maybe it will soften after wear.Typically, ASICS upper fabric is super soft. I only wear Asics. That said, these looked to have a nice thick sole which ended up not being the case. They feel pretty much like my worn out pair I was replacing. Also if you have bad arches these are definitely not for you. Won't be buying this particular pair again. My daughter and I went on a 62 mile walk over the course of 3 days and we both wore these shoes. While everyone else was complaining of blisters and foot trouble, we were comfortable in these shoes. They are really so supportive. I also like that they don’t pinch or squish the toes together. Toe box is wide and they have great arch support. Breathable mesh is a bonus.
