I was sooo happy to find how comfortable these are! No break-in period needed whatsoever. I have a very active/physical job and I didn’t wear them the first day so I could try them out in a smaller time span. They felt great walking around the house but it’s still hard to tell. My feet were killing me when I got home from work but I had to walk the dogs. I decided to try these ones and wow!!! My feet actually started to hurt less even tho I was still on them and had been working all day! That sold me on these right away and I’ve been wearing them to work every day now. No blisters or rub burns and my feet really aren’t aching at the end of the day! That blows my mind!! They look great, have awesome support, sturdy, very well made and solid. Firm toe box versus the typical soft mesh and fit the form of my feet beautifully. I’m pretty sure these will hold up well and last a good while too. Not real cheap but I’d pay even more for these! It can be so difficult to find a good pair of shoes no matter what price you pay. Thank you!!

I bought for my daughter for a weightlifting competition. She said they are super comfortable and were great. I also bought a pair. They don’t slip on heel, have great heel support, and are lightweight. However for me not enough support in front area of foot it hurt while walking on treadmill. I have high arches and feel there’s not enough support. I use inserts to help with that. I always go up 1/2 size with running shoes and these are true to size.

I have high arches and these shoes are very comfortable. I’m a nurse so I’m on my feet a lot but I feel like these would also be great for exercising. I typically like brands like Sketchers because of the memory foam inserts but this shoe’s support is more in the foam soles of the shoe and not the inside. Still very comfortable and durable. Sizing seems to be as expected, but a little tight on width that seemed to loosen up after a couple of days. I will be ordering another pair in a different color!

The GT 2000 line has been shoe of choice for yeras. Tried the new model 10 at the store and did not like them. They felt less stable and once again, the sizing was different. Happy I could still get the 9s! Shoes for over-pronation are not cheap. For the most part, this particular model of Asics is priced below others and they are good for me. The GT-2000 8 seemed big (I kept them because it wasn't that bad) but the model 9 is back to being the best fit. I don't know how they would be for a serious runner. I pretty much just walk the dog and use them as every day shoes. I do walk a lot and if I don't have a good athletic shoe, my feet hurt.

I’ve been wearing this brand/style for three years now. I am a heavy person, 78 yrs old and bike five miles daily. I wear them all day and even at the end of the day my feet are happy. They may be a little stiff at first so I adjust the laces looser to give my feet more room. Within a day or two they are perfect….however they are NEVER uncomfortable; just more comfortable looser those first days. I like that as time goes by I can readjust the lacing to give more support etc. ; sometimes I skip some holes. I alternate pairs to let each pair rest between wearing. That arch support lasts a long time. The old ones I use for gardening. I go through about 2 to 3 pairs a year, not bad when you think I wear them everyday. I hope ASICS keeps making them.

After several nights of searching for the right shoes and reading some real and misleading reviews I went to Google, and youtube and finally got the top 5 shoes Aesics Gel Technology shortened as GT was number one.. Then came the hassles of picking which of the GTs. Is it the 7, 8 or 9? Is it the 1000 9 or 2000 9. A lot of pop ups, but the reviews helped a lot and viola! This won my heart.. and i took my time to read reviews about asics gel tech. I initially got the GT 1000 9 but the GT 2000 9 beats the former hands down. I tried like 8 pairs but thanks to customer reviews I finally got the right shoe as I am on my toes for 10 plus hrs. I don't know how long this will last but overall, I am super happy with my choice. That's why I couldn't hold back my review so it could help others make the right choice. I The fit and color is perfect. The delivery was fast too. And tell you what this shoe deserves 5 stars. Lightweight and comfy.
