Like most of us I have been wearing workout clothing all day during this crazy virus time. Instead of my normal arched sandals, I've only been wearing flip-flops. My back started hurting recently and I found I needed a pair of sneakers with stability as my arch is now collapsing while I walk. I found these in the running store for $119.00 - too much! The color is beautiful (rose gold) and when the price dropped on Amazon, I knew I had to have them. They run a bit small - I took an 8.5 instead of the 8 which is normal. They fit just right and the stability is amazing. I can actually see my foot try to turn inward and the arch of this sneaker holding it in place. Well worth the money if you are looking for a stability sneaker. PS I'm not a runner but I am using them to take walks.

I have super flat, pronated feet, and these shoes are a lifesaver! I've been wearing these shoes for just a week and my feet feel like they are shifting back into place (I haven't had decent shoes or inserts for a few months, since my last pair of asics wore out and custom inserts are expensive). They are quite rigid on the sides, which holds my feet in better than other shoes I have bought. The sole is soft, but has a lot of built in arch support that has not flattened. I don't run, but these are excellent walking shoes for anyone with super flat, pronated feet. Update: After wearing these shoes for a few months, I am still impressed and loving them. I've begun taping my feet when going on long walks (which I haven't been able to do in years without ending up not being able to walk the next day), and I always wear these shoes when walking. They are holding up incredibly well and still feel quite good. The taping has helped a lot too, so if anyone else suffers with very flat feet, these shoes in combination with KT taping for flat feet has proven to be incredible.

I love ASICS shoes! The colors are great, as vibrant as in the photos. They arrived sooner than originally shown when ordered. I purchased these in a size 9.5w and a pair of ASICS Gel Venture7 in size 9. I intended to keep the one that fit best since ordering online it’s hard to know for sure. Both fit perfectly...so I kept them both! They are a good comfortable shoe for walking. Would purchase these again and most likely will as my previous 3 pair of tennis shoes have been ASICS.

These shoes have sufficient padding. I run/walk on my heels and these shoes give great support. I ordered size 8.5 . These are somewhat narrow for me so I only use them for gym workouts without running. The Gt 1000 box fit great! so i wanted to try these gt 2000 8. But the only difference is in box area and it is uncomfortable for the side of big toe bones. So if you have bunion issues or wide feet, you may have a similar issue.

I've recently gotten back into running more regularly and have realized just how important it is to have the right style shoe. If you're like me and over-pronate, this shoe's for you! There is good support throughout and plenty of cushion while running. They're solid without being too heavy. From my first run, I noticed how much more supported I was and no longer felt the tiredness or ankle, knee, and calf pain that used to be typical for me before I bought a stabilizing shoe. Asics do run narrow compared to other brands. I'm usually an 8.5 and have feet that are a bit wide. The 8.5 mediums were too snug in the foot box--my left foot toes became a bit numb. I swapped out the originals for size 9s instead, and that seemed to do the trick. Maybe ordering 8.5 wides would have solved the problem, but these feel great, so I'm keeping them. A solid shoe, well worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. These are the most comfortable and supportive running shoes! I have wide feet and it has been hard to find shoes that don’t jam into my toes. I also like the arch support - it allows me to run, jump with agility. Since this model is no longer the newest, the price has been dramatically reduced to almost half to what it used to be so they are now a steal! I like them so much I bought two pairs :)

I ran long distances (8+ miles daily) for many years. I always ran in the Asics Nano. I don't recall the number of the one I favored, but I know they were discontinued. I recently started running again, and the other brands/models do not provide the support I need and cause my knee and feet to hurt. After reading the reviews online, I decided to try the GT-2000 8, and I am happy with my purchase. I have run six miles several times in these, and they feel perfect.
