The ASICS GT 2000…I got them a few days before taking a trip to Utah and the Grand Canyon. I didn’t have time to break them in but found out I didn’t need to. this pair of shoes hiked with me through many trails of Utah’s Mighty Five National Parks and on a few trails in the Grand Canyon. I not once slid on loose dirt or crushed gravel on the sloped trails. The shoes have good traction. I took an extra pair of shoes but didn’t wear them. I’ve been using these shoes for long distance trail and road running, as well as on a track, and they have been very comfortable. I haven’t had any injuries for the past 6 years using the GT 2000. This model looks great and has good arch support. Would definitely buy this or a newer model in the future. ... show more

Fit exactly as expected, use these for running on concrete trails and gravel, holding up well and my heels don't hurt. a little heavy for a shoe but fine for what i'm doing

    • Was nervous about switching from GT-2000 9, but these are great!
They definitely are physically larger (in particular longer) than the GT-2000 9 shoes that I have been buying for years/ My usual size is a little looser on me, but probably not enough of a difference to size up? I like the lightness of the shoe; it's comfortable and easy to walk around in.

Love this shoe. I have this same shoe in several different colors. I continue to go back and buy this particular shoe for my gym time. Ultimate comfort and support. I have narrow long feet. I normally wear a size 10 but I order a size 10.5 in this shoe and it fits perfectly.
