I love these comfortable ASICS shoes for walking! They provide good cushioning while exercising and walking on a variety of terrains.. I like the light gray color with a swish of pink, very feminine. I have used them for several months and they hold up well. Since purchasing I have washed them once, I took them apart then soaked for a few hours and finished up by hand washing and rinsing. TA DA!! They looked just like new again! ASICS are my preferred tennis shoe for light exercising. Great product at a good value!

I have bought 2 pairs and am thinking about buying more! I want to have a stockpile if they ever stop making these shoes! They are a nice white, and they FEEL LIKE CLOUDS when you walk in them. By far the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. Even though they have hundreds of miles of wear on them they still fit perfectly and feel like clouds!! I’m still wearing my 1st pair partly because with a white shoe you can shoe polish them back to a nice white! Why get rid of them because muddy dogs jumped on me at the dog park? It’s not a perfect solution, but it freshens up the whiteness.

These shoes, like many of the other ASICS offerings, are of excellent quality. I walk a lot, perhaps up to 6 miles a day at times, because I don't have a car in a "big ole city", and I stand for at least 9 hours a day on most days for my livelihood. These shoes feel like black velvet heaven and last a long time without looking worn out. They feel this way to even slip on the moment you put them on, almost like the pressure and tightness of the shoes around your muscles and bones are massaging you into perfect walking form. Am planning on purchasing these again when my other ones wear out or get lost or stolen (I would completely understand why someone would steal these!). Grateful to ASICS, and thank you again for such awesome, convenient, well thought-out and designed products.

Love ASICS and have purchased this same shoe twice but each time at 3 months the inside seam in the back rips, causes blisters. Not sure why it rips in the same spot.

I am a big fan of the Asics Gel Nimbus. However, I was not a fan of the last two iterations so I was seeking another option. I was pleased to find the GT-1000. Price was great and this model harkens back to all the Asics Gel Nimbus models I have had spanning close to ten years. The toe box is roomy but not too much, helps me because I tend to pronate medially more on one foot than the other. The drop from heel to toe is minimal and while the sole is definitely supportive and comfortable, it is not exaggerated. Lots of cushion on the inside. Love the color I got, the maroon and red.
