I have never bought shoes above $40 in my entire life, so the concept of dropping $100+ on a shoe was jarring. I bought mine at $59.95 in Dusty Mauve/Champagne, which I thought was a really cute color. Again, from someone who's never owned high quality running shoes, these changed the game. My feet pain disappeared after I broke them in. Also, I stained them a while back and I was so afraid to wash them and after trying to clean them with oxiclean and a toothbrush and making it worse, I just threw them in the washer on delicate and prayed. Never go wrong buying any Ascis styles for walking, sports of all types. Most of all colors comfort no breaking in price cannot beat. Last a long time easy to clean just wipe. Breathable and cushion around top and arch support.. Soles last a long time and just want to buy more. I even have 2 pairs from 8 yrs ago my first purchase. This particular pair the tread was deep and yes more for hiking and trails. Still the quality great. True to size.

Very good sneakers. They don't have the sole padding that really expensive shoes have, but it is enough for me and I have trouble standing for hours. These keep my feet comfortable so I can stand for hours. I bought the wide style and the toe box is perfect. It does not cramp your toes. Could use more arch support. I had to buy arch supports for my plantar fasciitis so I solved that issue. This is the second pair of Asisics that I've bought here and have been very happy with them both. I'll continue to buy my sneakers here.

Just what I needed. I have had other Asics shoes and really like them, but current pair is starting to show some wear and I will now use them for yard work, etc. The newest ones will be for general daily wear and going for exercise. My PowerStep insoles fit nicely inside once I remove the Asics insoles. They seem to offer great support and stability, which I need, yet they are relatively lightweight and somewhat breathable. The toe box is nice and roomy; no pinching or rubbing, at least for my feet.

I love these trail shoes! They are stable, secure on wet or rough terrain and comfortable for long hikes or walking. Lived the colors and have purchased these rail shoes more than once over the years. Good price, durable and true to size. I like a wider toe box and this is pretty roomy without having to go to a wide shoe (which is great because my heel is narrower(. Great traction and grip and quality materials that are durable and breathable. A great show for many uses.

I hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-river in these bad boys and then used them for running shoes afterwards, including a Spartan race. Now, they’re retired to be my walking shoes. Not saying that they were the best shoes to hike the Grand Canyon in, but they got ‘er done and I sure got good value for my money.

I’ve been a loyal ASICS Gel running shoe wearer for over 10 years, and they’ve always delivered comfort, support, and durability. I typically wear a size 8.5 but always size up to a 9 in running shoes to allow for toe room, and that approach has worked perfectly with every pair, until now. Unfortunately, the Gel-Venture 9 runs small. Despite ordering my usual size-up (9), there’s very little room in the toe box and the fit feels uncomfortably snug. I didn’t notice just how snug they were, I wore them for the first time for a 3K wellness walk, by the end my toes and feet were sore, So unfortunately these won’t be suitable for running at all, I'll need to purchase another pair for that which was why I bought these. I’m really disappointed because I had high hopes for these, especially given my long history with the brand. If you’re considering this model, I strongly recommend sizing up more than usual or trying them on first if possible. I am giving it 3 stars for that reason.

This is my first pair of Asics, and I am very happy with them. I was looking for a trail shoe with excellent tread that I could wear when walking on rough terrain. These are super comfortable and make me feel more sure-footed than I do in any of my other tennis shoes. My feet do get a little hot in them, but it's a small price to pay for the comfort and excellent traction that these shoes provide.
