These running shoes are super-comfy, nice cushioning in the soles, and almost enough arch support even for me (I have high arches and always have to put in some inserts, but these shoes are almost there already). One thing you must know: they fit TRUE to size; do not listen to the reviewers who say they run a half size too small. I did, and I ordered a half size up, and lo and behold, the shoes were a half size too big. Duh. I returned them and got my usual size, and they fit perfectly. The toe box is roomy without my feeling like my feet are swimming in them. The heel hits my ankle/achilles at a comfortable place and haven't given me blisters. The outsole tread is pretty beefy, good for trail running. Mind, these are not trail running shoes, but if your ankles are like iron, you can definitely do trail running in these comfy shoes. Happy with my purchase. A word about the laces: at least one other reviewer noted the shoe laces, which are indeed pretty lame. Thin and delicate--wouldn't last long. All I did was switch out the much thicker/stronger laces from my worn out running shoes, and I'm good to go.

I love the color of these shoes! The turquoise, the black and finally the gray sole. I have been searching forever for dark colored sneakers without the standard white sole that I especially hate wearing in any weather that involves snow, mud etc. I usually wear a 7 but I have recently been ordering 7 1/2 due to a medical issue that causes my feet to swell. So based on the reviews people said to go up half a size and I did and they are to big. I'm out of state and desperate so I'm keeping them. Amazon famously delayed the arrival date last minute by three days so I took away one star.

I love the Venture shoes. Tried so many different shoes. I’d give it 5 stars if it came with better laces. I like the fact that the older models are made to last much longer, there’s more toe protection and the soles have more coverage than the newer shoes. I run on off road with them. I run on a highway in Hawaii that has a shoulder and than gravel and dirt so I try to get off the pavement on the dirt and gravel when I can. I love these shoes. I like a sturdy shoe that would last for training runs. Than when I race with a lighter shoe it feel so light. I need my running shoe laces tight in the arch area for good arch support and looser in the toe and ankle area so my foot can bend while running. The laces they came with were too thin to tighten where I needed them to tighten. I bought them once before last year but returned them for that reason and bought the Venture 6. Went to replace the 6 and I saw these again at a really good price so I tried them again and decided to try them with different laces and it made a big difference on the fit.

For the price they are good. My usual size is a U.S. woman’s size 8 and I purchased that exact size while they fit perfectly they fit alitte to perfect in my other shoes there’s a bit of toe room at the top but with these ones not at all but I feel like a 8.5 would of been to much toe room if that makes any sense. I plan to just keep the 8s and just order a 8.5 to do a comparison. Ordering a half size up though might be wise.

Really comfortable sole and easy to get one. Very lightweight. But my big toe on left touches the end of the shoe where it narrows to the tip. I need a wider toe box. I expect someone with narrower feet might be more comfortable after few mins than I am. (I get a wide and might try the 9 since this shoe checked the other boxes.)

These are a great everyday walking around shoe. I only had to go up a half size not a full size. I like my shoes tight so that overtime when they start to give they are not sloppy and falling off my feet. I like these shoes so much I am planning on buying a 2nd pair. I am hard on shoes, I just seem to go through them quicker than most people. So far they have been holding up just as good as my New Balance shoes which is my usual go-to brand.

I have been wearing this style of shoe for the last 3+ years. They are my main sneaker and I love them. They could do with a little more arch support for my personal foot shape, but they are really comfortable. My last pair are over two years old and while other sneakers have worn out in the back of the heel before even getting that old, these are still holding strong! The tread is still in great condition, too, and outside of winter, it's the shoe I wear most of the time.

I bought these since I wore out my Gel venture 4. Was hoping they'd e as comfortable. Unfortunately, they are taking some time to grow on me. The design is great, but the structure of the bottom of the shoe isn't as light weight as the 4. I also found the laces to be very thin and short.
