First off, I LOVE the colors and design of these. The fact that the bottom layer (not what actually touches the ground but the foam part of the sole that you can see) is gray rather than white is a huge plus. They don't stain and look old nearly as fast. However, these feel a lot more cheaply made than prior Asics that I've had. They are the perfect size for me, but the shoe kinda slouches a little when I step? Hard to describe, but it's like there just isn't as much structure to the sides of the shoe as there usually is. Also, the plastic part (what would have been leather back in the day) at the toe, has already torn really easily. Like it's just a thinner coating. So even though I really like the overall look of these, the quality is just not as good as typical Asics. These sneakers are so comfortable. Wore them around the house 1st day just in case i didn’t like them or they weren’t fitting properly. I’ve had ASICS before. The GEL 15,16,17 after that they were not made the same. They were/are uncomfortable. The sole. I wear them for housework & trips to the PO. Nothing more than that. By end of day my feet are sore. Before these arrived I tried Sketchers. They are not for my feet. 😂. I did size up as always with ASICS 1/2 size. Fit good. ... show more

I recently got a pair of these ASICS Gel running shoes, and I'm really happy with my purchase. I can't believe they were less than $40. The neutral and pretty colors caught my eye, and they are incredibly comfortable and supportive for walking and working from home. Highly recommended!

I have had these shoes now for 5 months. I love them and wear them 5 days a week to the gym. The shoe laces however are terrible. They are flat instead of round and from the first day, they frequently get knotted when I am unlacing the shoes. If I power walk or run on the treadmill, they frequently become un-tied so I always have to double tie them. I wear these for work, often on my feet for 14 hours a shift. They did not need to be "broken in" at all, comfy from day one. Like the color combination. Shoes were shipped and received as promised. Would definitely purchase again.

The style is “flattering”-ish to my 11.5 foot and very comfortable. Lots of support - I wear them for exercise classes. Good tread so they won’t wear out soon and they don’t slip. Plenty of “toe” room- not narrow at toes. I didn’t know ASICS had larger sizes in half sizes - the 11 “1/2” is a must for my feet. Reasonable price! I will buy again. Highly recommend! ... show more

I am someone who typically likes a sleek “thin” shoe. This is a bigger bulkier shoe with a plush tongue. It also has some height to it that I’m not typically used to. If you’re able to get past those things, they’re a great comfortable shoe! I have kept and am using this shoe but most likely wouldn’t have picked it from the store for everyday use. I would imagine that it would be a good shoe for hiking/slippery surfaces. Also is nice for winter- my feet have been warm!
