Asics are exactly the right fit for my feet. The arch support is in the right spot; the toe box is roomy enough; the width is good. The fabric on these also feels soft, so there's less chance for chafing or blistering. Love these. I have purchased 5 pair of trainers over the last year (I’m on my feet at least 6 hours a day) looking for a colder weather athletic shoe. I have the prefect hot weather ones. Most of the ones I have purchased have been either to heavy or too stiff just not meeting my needs. These were perfect out of the box light, flexible and comfortable all day. I did a 1/2 size up like I normally do with trainers and boots as one typically wears thicker socks. I wish I had not done that with these. Roomy toe box and are a bit too big. The media could not be loaded. I love these shoes. I have size 8 feet that are a bit on the wider side, but not nearly wide enough to need “wide” sizes. The ASICS have been the best shoes for me that I’ve found so far. These are probably my 4th or 5th pair of the gel-venture styles. I wear them to death and then replace :-) I have some issue with my foot where I have pain along the outer part under my foot and it comes back every time I wear sandals. A day or two wearing these and my foot pain is practically gone. I’m a 36 year old female and most of my activity is walking around the house doing mom things, walking my dog, and (some) running. The purple and gray is nicer than I was expecting! Great support, comfortable to walk in all day, and perfect for a wider foot that isn’t wide enough for “wide” shoes. I don’t know if these would be as comfortable for someone with long, narrow feet. I call my feet Fred flintstone feet :-) Nikes are too narrow for me- so if Nikes are too narrow for you, you might love these. I got these on sale on Amazon for I believe $56 or so. These are great shoes. I have a lifelong condition in my left foot and Asics have helped me walk withouttoo much pain. These particular shoes don't bunch up in the toes. They are stylish and sporty at the same time.

Looks as pictured, fits a whole size small. I’m usually an 8.5 in ASICS and have several pairs. These are so small they fit like a 7.5. They are also not very supportive. I expected more and will be returning.
