I purchased 7 different pairs of shoes in trying to replace my beloved Adidas Adizero Ubersonic 3 (not the v4, I can tell you that!). I finally got to these Asics, which have been a solid replacement. I am typically a narrow to regular foot size and as many commenters have said, these are extremely narrow and I had to size up to the 9 wide. They are a good shoe and don't cause any pain related to my plantar fasciitis. Even in wide they are still snug across the top of the foot. You can see in the photos there is a different colored band about midway up the laces - this does not stretch and is what helps give the shoe side-to-side stability.

They are very correct. I have a 6-6.5 foot that has never been wide. I have other ASICS so I ordered the 6.5 like the others. Holy moly they are narrow. Who has feet built like that?? I returned and ordered a 7 wide, but they sent 6.5 wide. Low and behold they are snug, but they seem to fit. I think if I would have received the 7s like I ordered, they may have felt more comfy/loose but the heel would probably slip. Let’s see how they feel wearing them around the house until my next tennis lesson. Fingers crossed they don’t hurt my feet.

This is a good shoe for pickleball. It offers good support and very good stability. As others have said, this shoe runs very narrow. My foot is average to slightly narrower than average and I needed the WIDE shoe. There's a lot of cushioning on all sides of the shoe, which offers great stability. That said, if you have a wide foot, this is likely not the shoe for you.

Love them! Fit is a little snug but otherwise okay. Very comfortable shoe. Love the look and the feel on the court. Feel like I am floating. Highly recommend!

I loved the look of this shoe online, and in person the appearance was great, too. But the length seemed about half size big and the toe box, just above the ball of my foot, was also narrow. There’s a dark blue strap woven among the laces that seems to hold this region closed. It doesn’t stretch and is not adjustable. Also, the whole exterior of the shoe is covered in some sort of plastic mesh that I’m sure helps with stability and durability, but also probably won’t allow the shoe to “break in.” Tried the shoes on indoors twice, finally gave up and decided to return them. My foot cramped for 30 min after removing the shoe the second time.

I have narrow feet and these are still a bit narrow. I was also hoping for a tennis shoe that wasn’t so flat footed (I have high arches). The shoes will be fine for now, but I won’t be purchasing again.
