Conveying a new perception of the shape of a retro running shoe, the GEL- KAYANO™ 14 running shoe is revived with its late 2000s aesthetic reminiscent of our legendary GEL-KAYANO™ series. Reinterpreting the shoe's high- performance features with updated materials and components, this model became the first version in sneaker history to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This relay passage revives the legendary values of the franchise, in addition to marking an evolution in the evolution of performance. Mimicking the original midsole fabrication with the cushioning of GEL™ technology, this shoe also improves the fit of the upper while retaining the 2008 leather and mesh layered structure. In addition, the insole is made with a solution dyeing process to reduce water consumption by 33. % and carbon emissions about 45%.
