I have a really hard time finding a good pair of tennis shoes that I can wear for a long time and be comfortable to walk in. A lot of people recommended ASICS but I hate to spend a lot of money on something I’m not sure about, but these were good! I really like these shoes. I do have a high arch so after reading the reviews I did get inserts for that but I enjoy these shoes. I love walking and running trails so they will be perfect for that.

Asics are my go to work shoe as someone who works 12 hour shifts . They are so comfortable all day long, especially the Gel-Excite model. The trail version offers the same comfort as well as added grip to make these the perfect running or hiking shoe. I wish they had lighter colors to choose from but I love them so much ... show more

I wear a size 9 and purchased a 9 1/2. Glad I purchased a half size larger, there is thick padding inside the heel. The color is a muted or soft teal. I have plater fasciitis and I might need to add inserts.

I've had several pairs of this Gel-Excite Trail Runner, they are comfortable and supportive and hold up. The traction is excellent on trails with stones and wet leaves. My only comment on this pair was that the color was advertised as "misty pine/soft sky" and the photo showed a definite green color. Mine are blue/teal. ... show more
