I really like these shoes and they have amazing support. I bought them to walk on my treadmill (I walked the soles off my Sketchers!) and read good reviews about them. I picked these over other shoes I was looking at because I walk on the inside of my foot, and these shoes had a support to correct that. The support is both the best thing about these shoes and the worst. The good part is that it does kind of force my foot into better alignment, but the bad part is that the same support caused the inside of my heels to rub and I got these MASSIVE blisters. I had to get a cushion for that side of my heel in order to keep wearing these shoes. I have to say, though... It does help my back pain, so the blisters and spending more money on cushions is worth it in the end.

Really glad to have learned about the ACICS Womens Gel Excite 9 Running Shoe from my sister, who’s friends podiatrist recommended she purchase them. I was laid up for three weeks with a badly sprained toe/foot. So determined to get to walking again but couldn’t imagine being successful (without pain) in the popular brand shoe I’ve been a consumer of for over 30 years. Quality in manufacturing just seemed to be be getting worse the past few years. LOVE this ACICS shoe & highly recommend! Got me walking again the day I put them on! They fit perfectly I ordered 39 (us size 7.5) even though i usually wear 38 or 38.5, but i measured everything according to their guide and the thing that made me order bigger size than I usually wore was the heel to toe size and i'm so glad that I did that. It's very comfortable, beautiful and very light.

I had issues with plantar fasciitis a few years back and started feeling it coming on again. These are so comfortable I absolutely love wearing them. The heel feels so supported and cushioned. It is a huge difference in what I was wearing before. I have a wide foot, and their is plenty of room to accommodate. Normally wear a 5 1/2, that is what I ordered and it fits great.

Not as nice as the Gel Kayano 28, but at $40 cheaper…..that’s alright. I walk, not run and these are good for that. Very roomy in the toes which is better than the Gel Kayano 27s. I always have to size up 1/2 size in ASICS for some reason. Great sneakers.

These shoes like every other pair I've had are very comfortable from the beginning.. I have very high arches so I have to watch that they have arch support before I purchase.. I used these Shoes for walking long distance is with my dog. Asics shoes are always comfortable. I just have to make sure they don't Correct for pronation or some other foot correction. I have been wearing this brand of shoes for 15 years And still love them!

So comfortable and super great price for this shoe! I have serious foot problems, a shoe must be roomy with wide toe bed, be cushioned and have good arch support, I have bone spur on left heel, so a shoe can’t have a high overly padded back - these shoes fit the bill. I ordered 1/2 size up and wide. I would say they run a bit small bc these fit perfectly. In fact, I came on-line to order another pair and saw the review and wanted to share.
