The GEL-EXCITE 9 shoe is a comfortable trainer for the casual fitness runner. Thanks to its engineered jacquard mesh upper, this material increases airflow while creating a softer feel against your foot. A combination of AMPLIFOAM cushioning and GEL technology are placed in the midsole. These features provide better impact absorption with a more forgiving landing at footstrike.

you can feel your feet sigh when you put them on. I needed a change from Skechers, and remembered that I had once gotten a pair of Asics to play volleyball in that were super comfortable. So I took a chance and ordered these. I doubled checked the size of the shoes I was wearing and ordered accordingly. These shoes are so awesome!!! I was having some trouble with pronation in my feet, and these have some really decent arch support that I could tell immediately. I am on my feet at least 8 hours a day, so I need a shoe that is just as comfortable in hour eight as they were in hour one. These are that shoe for me. With the others I was experiencing some pretty major foot pain, and a week in these that is no longer a problem!

I actually really like these shoes for their price point. I bought them specifically because reviews seemed like they had adequate arch support. I have found they do not have enough arch support. They are pretty thick foam. If you're used to slim shoes like Converse, they are going to take some getting used to. I wear these with Smartwool socks from REI, and I walked 3-6 miles on a couple days. The first day I walked 3 miles in them, my feet hurt a lot afterwards. Maybe they do need some breaking in because the day I walked 6 miles, I had little to no discomfort. Just the normal weary feet after walking that much, and some pain because the arch support wasn't enough. No blisters, but that might be because of my socks (they are magic!!). The laces are a bit too short for me, and/or maybe I should have sized up since my socks are so thick.

I am loyal to the Asics Gel Excite line and this model did not disappoint. I love that they come in wide. The color was very pretty. I did notice the arch support is a little more in this model. I don’t use to run but in my daily cardio workouts. They are comfortable for that and everyday use. They are a great deal on Amazon as well.

The shoes is not only cute, but the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever used. As a nurse standing and walking most of my shift makes my feet hurt, but this shoes doesn’t do that. I got a lot of complement on the shoes. I would definitely recommend to get the shoes.

This is my second pair of ASICS running shoes. I loved how amazingly comfortable my first pair was, so when I saw this beautiful pink color I couldn't resist to them. I love this color, they are supposed to be pink, but to me they are a beautiful combination of light violet and pink. I have worn them twice and have received several compliments. I just love them SO much.

I buy 2 pairs at a time usually different colors. I rotate and wear them every other day as recommended by a doctor for standing long periods of time. I work in a factory 8-12hr days. They are comfortable the whole shift. I don't need a break-in period like with other shoes. They're true to size and fit well. I wish they were leather for those rainy or cold days otherwise perfect.
