I have serious foot problems, a shoe must be roomy with wide toe bed, be cushioned and have good arch support, I have bone spur on left heel, so a shoe can’t have a high overly padded back - these shoes fit the bill. I have issues finding comfortable shoes for standing on concrete floors all day at work. I have a titanium plate and screws in my right ankle. I have swelling issues plus planters fasciitis in both feet. I need a wide shoe plus wide toe box and ASICS almost always work for me. This pair was the best fit by far I have ever worn! I'm extremely happy with these. They have even helped with the swelling in my right ankle and foot. I will definitely buy this style again

These shoes like every other pair I've had are very comfortable from the beginning.. I have very high arches so I have to watch that they have arch support before I purchase.. I used these Shoes for walking long distance is with my dog. Asics shoes are always comfortable. I just have to make sure they don't Correct for pronation or some other foot correction. I have been wearing this brand of shoes for 15 years And still love them!

I currently work in the healthcare industry as a medical assistant and am also a nursing students, so to say I spend a lot of time on my feet is an understatement. I always bought cheapy shoes (I'm secretly Mr. Krabs) and my feet started to pay the consequences. So I decided I needed to make a change, and after doing some research I discovered that Asics was a popular brand amongst healthcare workers. The deal on these shoes in particular when I bought them was amazing ($47 compared to $90-100 in store) so I thought I'd give them a try, and I am SO glad I did. The sole is cushy, but supportive (they are also easily removable if you want to switch them out for custom insoles). The ankle of the shoe is very sturdy, and provides really firm, comfortable support but doesn't rub too much. They also run true to size, so I would advise you order your regular size. I noticed an immediate difference in my foot and ankle pain after wearing these, and I swear by them for my 8 hour nursing clinicals. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

I needed a sneaker that has a removable insole and was light. I’ve never worn ASICS, so I wasn’t sure if they ran true to size or if they had a narrow toe box. They are an extremely light weight shoe, have a wider toe box and run true to size. For the price it’s an excellent sneaker for the casual walker.

Ok, first of all, let me just say that the Amazon virtual shoe try-on feature is such a huge help! I was skeptical because I thought it wouldn't really be much help, but I tried it on one pair of shoes I was considering, and it actually looked as though I was wearing those shoes while sitting in my recliner. I was able to get enough of a "feel" for them that I decided to keep looking and went with these. I did the virtual thing and then ordered. They look on my foot exactly like they did in the virtual image. These are very comfortable and light-weight. I suffer plantar fascitis, and some athletic shoes can aggravate it, or even "turn it back on" when it's not bothering me. These have not done that. You may wonder why only four stars?? I figure it would have to be the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn to earn that distinction - like the shoe you NEVER want to take off.
