The Asics Gel-Excite 8 is the latest version of this super comfortable running shoe. The running shoe impresses with its lightweight mesh material, which provides ideal ventilation and air circulation. The material clings to the foot and provides improved grip and comfort. The responsive and robust Amplifoam midsole ensures a comfortable fit. Combined with the gel cushioning, these properties offer great comfort and endurance readiness. A Guidance Line technology allows the foot a more natural and even running movement as well as more stability.

I am so excited to find this older style of ASIC tennis shoes. It is so comfortable. I have used my first pair to take my longer walks for the past couple years since they fit so well. Though they are still in good shape, it is time for a new pair. I have narrow feet so the more expensive tennis shoes, like HOKA or Brooks, don't fit me. ... show more

These are great sneakers for the price point. There was no “breaking in” phase for me and I was able to jump into all my strength and conditioning workouts without any issues! I wish the arch support was a bit higher but with this price point, it’s hard to beat!! Would purchase again!

I don't understand why Asics is making *some* of their shoes 1/2 size smaller than the regular size - don't they have a measurement standard? It's really frustrating! Anyway, my normal size 7.5 would be too small, but size 8 fits great and they are very both supportive and comfortable. I love that they are mostly black but have a color pop of hot pink and neon yellow. So, other than the SIZING ISSUE, these are great! ... show more
