The Asics Gel-Excite 8 is the latest version of this super comfortable running shoe. The running shoe impresses with its lightweight mesh material, which provides ideal ventilation and air circulation. The material clings to the foot and provides improved grip and comfort. The responsive and robust Amplifoam midsole ensures a comfortable fit. Combined with the gel cushioning, these properties offer great comfort and endurance readiness. A Guidance Line technology allows the foot a more natural and even running movement as well as more stability.

these shoes saved my legs from extreme pain. i work 12+ hour shifts as a night shift nurse and these are so incredibly comfortable! i also wear them to jog the trail near my place. amazing and affordable too.

I have been working out for years. I also have very little arch in my foot. I have tried Nike running shoes, Brooks running shoes and these Ascis. The ASICS have the best support and cushion I have found in a running shoe.

Love the navy and orange color. Due to the reviews, I purchased my normal size, 8-1/2 but got it in wide. So glad I got the heads up from others because these are extremely narrow, even after ordering a wide. I think in time, I'll stretch them out with wear but the majority of people will need a wide. I love all my ASICS that I've bought in the past. I ordered my regular size and all 4 pairs I ordered were too small for my feet. I should have sized up a whole size from my regular size 9 to a 10. I ended up giving all 4 pairs to my sister in law so I wouldn't have to go through the return process.
