Another great pair of ASICS for daily 5 mile walks! Numerous pairs of this brand I splurged and got this version of the Cumulus. Very nice and comfy. Light and supportive. Over time I’ll need to add various pads to support worn areas but each pair lasts me about 10 months of daily long walks. Love this shoe! Compared to my previous - purple and navy - pair, the laces are much improved shorter and stay securely tied without a double knot. The tongue is perfect for evening out the pressure. Expensive but are the perfect walking shoe! Color is less obnoxious than previous versions. Sole is durable, inner padding is good for now, are not slippery. Top mesh is expected to wear over time but I prefer the lightness for comfort and air flow. ... show more

I’m busy in the summer and forget to wear shoes because I’m constantly in sandals flip-flops or wedges for work! My back was hurting! Finally, it dawned on me that I need to be wearing supportive shoes around the house! So I literally bought these just wear around the house and my back pain has significantly improved! I’m pretty much wearing these all the time! I purchased the White color style and it goes with most of my outfits, especially sport wear which I wear daily in the summer. The style is on trend and I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on the design of the shoe. My feet feel supported, but not springing like I’m jumping with every step. I did not want to buy some thing so cushion forward that all of my bones in my feet are getting so sore from flexing. This seems to be the perfect medium between cushioned and supported. I washed my white shoes with normal detergent on a fast wash and they came out perfectly white again. Can go wrong with ASICS sneakers. Having wide feet, finding shoes it challenging. ASICS sneakers (wide) have always been a good fit and exceptionally comfortable.

I run 5-6 miles 3x’s a week, and so far these have given me a little boost in pace and they have been very comfortable. First running shoes I splurge on. I usually go a half size bigger for my running shoes so I got them in 7 1/2 wide and they were a little wider than usual compared to the other asics I’ve gotten in the same size, in the past, but I don’t mind it. I got on clouds and brooks at the same time to try and see which would be best, and ultimately these were a lot better fit for my feet. ... show more

On my feet 5 to 7 hours a day as a cashier at my local food store. Tried Brooks, Rebok and others but have to say these offered the best comfort and stability of them all. Have been wearing them for years for my daily walks of 2 to 3 miles per day and will continue to use them for work and play!

    • Poor fit overall

I bought these based on not only the reviews but also a "we tried several running shoes and these were the best" articles. Lesson learned. For my entire adult life I have been a 9.5 regular width, but these shoes did not fit. The toe box was spacious, but that was the only good aspect. While they felt properly sized in length, after walking around the house for only 15 minutes they were rubbing against both heels. The width was also restrictive, and I've never worn wide shoes before; I did check both the shoes and the box and they are not a narrow size. The tongue is very thin, basically a double layer of fabric, so that did not provide any cushioning either. Finally the arch support was minimal so even without the other issues these probably would've been unwearable in a few weeks. Last month I bought new winter boots and a pair of casual shoes, both 9.5 regular, and both fit well and are comfortable for daily wear. I've had ASICS before that fit well, however these will be returned. ... show more
