I ordinarily wear a women's size 4 shoe. Well made shoe options are not plentiful in a size 4, so when I saw reviews indicating this shoe ran small, I gave the size 5 shoe a try. It fits well with about a 1/2 inch room in the toe. So, I agree with the other reviews to size up if you order this shoe. This is a running shoe that I am using for fast paced walking. I found the shoe comfortable right out of the box and my first 2 hour walk felt great.
