Description

Move from feeling standard to super in the SUPERBLAST 2 shoe. It's designed to help provide the most responsive, energized feel compared to other shoes in the ASICS cushioning range. The midsole features a combination of FF BLAST PLUS and FF BLAST TURBO cushioning. Also used in our METASPEED racing models, this foam helps create one of the lightest and bounciest running experiences. This shoe's upper construction features an asymmetric mesh design. It features different colors on the medial and lateral angles of the shoe for visual interest.

I reviewed these after my first run and gave them four stars. I didn't know there could be such an improvement after the first run. The shoe felt softer the second run. Not soft like the Nimbus but very cushioned yet responsive. Now I get the comparisons with the Mizuno Neo Vista. Keep in mind that these are not inexpensive but no one can keep them in stock. None of the running stores near me have them and Amazon is sold out. I bought them from Asics and even Asics needed a week to get them shipped. This is not a fad. The Superblast 2 is really great whether you're running one mile or one hundred. I don't sprint but if I did I might consider something made for sprinting.
