The NOVABLAST 4 running shoe features a new midsole and outsole geometry. A tongue wing construction in the upper helps improve the fit while reducing tongue movement. It's complemented with an engineered woven upper that offers more stretch, ventilation, and durability. FF BLAST PLUS ECO cushioning is made with recycled bio content. This material helps create softer landings and a more energized toe-off during your training. The heel stabilizer helps support the foot and create a more balanced stride. The sock liner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage and carbon emissions; compared to the conventional dyeing technology. Reflective details help improve visibility in low-light settings. AHAR outsole improves durability. Heel-to-Toe Drop: 8mm

ASICS makes a great running shoe. This is my second pair of the Novablast 4 and around my 8th pair of ASICS. They are super comfortable and very light and airy for those long runs. I admit I do replace the insoles with high arch running insoles. Hope there is a 5 version.

I love asics. Everytime I buy their shoes, there's no break in period, they always come out of the box feeling amazing. I bought these because I just got into running and I'm 205lbs and heard these are one of the best comfort shoes and they are also asics so I had to try them. I did a 5K first day I got them and the next day, my feet don't even feel anything, as if I didn't exercise at all. Very comfortable and worth it if your training to last long in a marathon. The back heel section does get sweaty tho because of all the padding, but I also love in Florida and it's super hot outside so there's that. ... show more

Better than was expecting from a running shoes at this price level...I also own the Superblast and at on my first run, looks like the Novablast 4 fits more my running needs/style

I’m a marathoner and unusually train in Saucony Endorphin speed 3s and 4s, Nike Alpha Fly 2 for long runs, and Nike vapor max for tempo runs. I’ve dealt with shin issues for the past year. I had my first run in these shoes today and they are a game changer, I went half a size up so they fit amazingly, the cushion was perfect and supported and minimized impact from the ground.
