Back in the day I did my runs on concrete sidewalks and neighborhood streets, and with each step I could feel some shock/impact to my right knee, and kinda on my back. I asked a running/marathon guru what is the best running shoe for reducing shock/impact, and he said ASICS with Gel in the soul for shock absorption. My ASICS immediately eliminated the shock to my knee and back. That was 7 years ago. Now, 7 years later, it was time for a new pair. These "ASICS 1000 generation 10" running shoes were priced super low cuz the generation 11's just came out. Early reviewers were saying the gen 11's are not as good as the gen 10's. So with these gen 10's priced at just 60 bucks (reg 120) I picked up 3 pairs in 3 colors. Love them! On the all black shoe, I replaced the 53" dark laces with vibrant blue laces and man these doggies look good.

I power walk up to 4 miles per day. I have bought very expensive running shoes like new balance. I was looking for a good shoes that wasn't so expensive and these fit the build. Good looking, fit great , and very comfortable for what I do

Only lasted 2 years before “holes” above my big toes started showing up, though small they’re very noticeable. Also the insoles already replaced due to large gapping under my ‘feet soles’, with Dr. Scholes gel insoles which are very uncomfortable… so had to replace & couldn’t find the identical pair.

First and foremost… These things are way brighter than the picture shows, not a bad thing. I’m on my feet all day, 20k+ steps per day and they are amazing! Love how bright they are too! Def attention getters! Will def be buying another pair and throwing them in the closet as a reserve for when my first pair gets trashed by a patient.

I have a narrow size B width.This shoe fits snug especially in the heel.I can’t see anyone with a medium width being able to wear this model.It only works for me because I’m a narrow width in NB shoes.I would compare Asics regular width to NB narrow width shoes.

I need a shoe with a large toe box after I broke my little toe. The GT2000 has ample room, I need good arch support and the Asic has great arch support, comparable to a custom insert. The soles have good cushion and they shoes are incredibly light. The only con is the tread wear is poor compared to other brands, but the price is lower so it comes out Its one of my top 2 shoes for me.

ASICS Men's GT-2000 10 Running Shoes apparently run a wee smaller than I expected in the 13-wide size. They are almost, but not quite, wide enough to be really comfortable. The slight constriction right at the widest part of my feet stresses the fabric a bit, and after several months, the shoes show a bit of stress in the mesh part covering the toes. But they are lightweight, cool (talking temperature not the other kind of cool), and a good value at the $60 price.
