This is my favorite tennis shoe. Fit and comfort are perfect. I just wish it had a more pronounced arch support. I do use custom made insoles for arch support though, so that helps immensely. The fit and finish of this shoe are really good, the color options are great as well. This is my third pair and they do last a long time. I hope they never stop making these, they are really that good. This particular model (venture-9) has a softer feel compared to previous versions - that can be good or bad depending on your taste and what you use this shoe for. I just walk a lot so they work. Running could make them feel a bit loose overtime but that's just a guess. Truth is, you can't go wrong with these.

A well built and comfortable shoe - once again ASICS doesnt let me down. Very good fit, size as expected, and very good stability and comfort! It is a little heavier than the usual ASICS running shoe, but I am ok with that since it fits so well and has superb cushioning. A great shoe even if I had to pay a lot more, but this price made the show an excellent value!!

These Asics Gel Venture 9 shoes are solid. They offer the support I need, 6ft 240, especially since I’m recovering from an Achilles surgery two months ago. It’s exactly what I need in a shoe. I always wear ASICS and the lighter running shoes are more flex but if you need more support and rigidity, I can’t recommend the Gel Venture 9 enough.

I like these shoes, but they are surprisingly stiff at first. A little bit hard. You have to break them in a little bit longer time than usual. If you to do a lot of walking/running right out of the box you will regret it. Actual foot pain! You have been warned! But once they are FULLY broken in you will enjoy this purchase more with no issues. Also, they do seem to be sized correctly. No need to go up or down a half size from whatever your normally wear. (I’m a men’s size 10) 4 stars - I took off one star because of the extra stiffness that I described.
