OrthoLite Hybrid Max Lite sockliner designed to help provide advanced moisture management, breathability, and cushioning properties. Rearfoot GEL technology shock-attenuating material placed in the midsole of the shoe for cushioning and shock absorption. Molded rubber outsole.

I have been buying ASICS shoes for many years, and this new model is extremely comfortable and very nice looking. I wear them for long hikes and they have a good arch support, and very comfortable foam insert. The tread is also thick and gives you a lot of traction. You can walk comfortably around town all day and be veryl comfortable. They are well made and should last for about 2 years. I've worn Asics for about 35 years now. Every pair I've had, and there have been many, have fit well and gotten the job done. The Gel-Venture 11 are performing as expected which is very well. The cushioning and support in the heel and arch are excellent. Very comfortable to walk and run in these shoes. Finally, and less importantly, the looks are just OK. The cheap "iron on" Asics logo doesn't look good. I've been purchasing Asics for as long as I have strictly for the performance quality anyway. ... show more

I like Asics athletic shoes. They consistently fit my feet quite well. These shoes seem sturdy and have good grippy tread, ideal for light hiking, trail running and general every day use. Comfortable. My only gripe about Asics is the tread on previous shoes seems to wear out quickly. I walk and hike about 35-40 miles a week and the past Asics I’ve had usually lose their rear tread after six months so maybe that is normal. ... show more

Comfortable for all day wear, and bit lighter and less spongy, which helps me with stability. Size is pretty accurate. Not as wide as other 4E running shoes that I have. Has good arch support so I don't need tu use aftermarket insoles.

Good support yet easily on the foot especially over rough terrain. Best shoe ever for sensitive feet especially after surgery and having a bunion that is very painful when walking. Able walk with these conditions without any significant pain. These are the only shoe style that I was able to walk with even compared to shoes costing 2x the price are not even this good.
