The GEL-VENTURE 10 shoe has been modified to provide better cushioning. Its functionality has been strategically designed for when you're shifting from the outdoors to city streets. The midsole has been modified with AMPLIFOAM cushioning and a higher stack height. When combined with the rearfoot GEL technology, these features help create a softer and more comfortable feel underfoot. Meanwhile, the outsole features an advanced traction pattern that's functional for the road and trail surfaces. Polyester upper and lining. Ethylene vinyl acetate insole. Lace-up closure in a round toe silhouette. Pull tab in front and back for easy entry. Synthetic rubber outsole.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience with the ASICS Gel-Venture 10 running shoes. I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for over a year now, and finding shoes that are both affordable and comfortable has been a challenge—until now. Right out of the box, these shoes felt great. The rearfoot GEL cushioning and supportive sole really stood out. I could feel the difference in my heel and arch support almost immediately. After just a few days of wearing them for walks and errands, the morning heel pain that used to slow me down was noticeably reduced. I’m not saying it’s a cure, but for the price, it’s the best relief I’ve gotten from any shoe so far. The fit is solid but breathable, and they’ve held up well with daily use. I wear them both on trails and around town, and they’ve given me reliable traction and comfort every time. For under $70, it honestly feels like I got a much more expensive shoe. If you’re dealing with foot pain and don’t want to break the bank, I highly recommend giving these a shot. They’ve made a real difference for me. ... show more

These are my husbands favorite style of shoes! We have been buying asics for years, they provide great support on a budget for a runner. They fit fairly true to size, but are wide enough that we don’t need to buy a wide width shoe. If you are looking for an every day wear, these are excellent for that too! Great comfortable sneakers with good cushioning, perfect for daily runs. They have decent grip on surfaces and provide good foot support. Some of the previous versions of the VENTURE were nicer in my opinion, but still, this version is a good one. Having enjoyed several pairs of version 4,6 & 8, this is still a reliable and very comfortable shoe. I have worn a 14 asics for 20 years, but have found that their TRAIL shoes run small. Other reviewers here have noticed that as well. Tried on a size 14 at the box store nearby and they were tight, like big toe pushing past the end of the toe box tight. Took a chance in disbelief and ordered a size 15 in these trail shoes here on amazon, half expecting to return them for being too big. However, they fit perfectly, with a tiny bit of space at the end for movement. Note, they will look HUGE compared to your foot. You must put them on, because alot of padding is present. value 5/5. appearance, 3/5. shoes are not impressive looking but little choices. comfort 4.5/5. i compared my favorite shoe asics gel venture 6 in size 8.5 wide (comfort 5/5) to new shoe asics gel venture 10 in size 8.5 xtra wide. when placed back to back the soles are exactly the same width. the venture 6 has a thinner top, roomier toe box with better breathability. the venture 10 has more lateral toe support which make the pinky toe slightly less comfortable. the venture 10 has a thicker padding/liner so it's less breathable. overall the asics venture gel 10 (size 8.5 xtra wide) is very close to it's predecessor, the venture gel 6 (size 8.5 wide). the venture gel 6 looks better, breaths better, and has a slight edge on comfort. soles of the shoes feel the same walking around the house. unfortunately the venture gel 6 is discontinued. ... show more

I've been wearing Asics for years. Always comfortable right from the start. Until this pair. When my Gel Venture 9 pair finally wore out I was disappointed to find they weren't still selling them. Okay I'm sure the new model will be just as good or better. Wrong. Not nearly as comfortable for whatever reason. Stiffer even after walking 25+ miles. Seems slightly smaller too. Maybe I just got a bad pair but I'm going to have to try on my next pair before buying. ... show more

Asics are my favorite walking shoe. I try to walk every day for at least 4-5 miles and these shoes hold up to that very well. The craftsmanship and materials are excellent and the shoes give excellent support. This is my third pair of ASICS and the quality is the same as the first pair I purchased. The shoes do fit tighter than a lot of other similar shoes but, that is something I’m looking for. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a quality walking shoe at a reasonable price. ... show more
