The GEL-VENTURE 10 shoe has been modified to provide better cushioning. Its functionality has been strategically designed for when you're shifting from the outdoors to city streets. The midsole has been modified with AMPLIFOAM cushioning and a higher stack height. When combined with the rearfoot GEL technology, these features help create a softer and more comfortable feel underfoot. Meanwhile, the outsole features an advanced traction pattern that's functional for the road and trail surfaces. Polyester upper and lining. Ethylene vinyl acetate insole. Lace-up closure in a round toe silhouette. Pull tab in front and back for easy entry. Synthetic rubber outsole.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience with the ASICS Gel-Venture 10 running shoes. I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for over a year now, and finding shoes that are both affordable and comfortable has been a challenge—until now. Right out of the box, these shoes felt great. The rearfoot GEL cushioning and supportive sole really stood out. I could feel the difference in my heel and arch support almost immediately. After just a few days of wearing them for walks and errands, the morning heel pain that used to slow me down was noticeably reduced. I’m not saying it’s a cure, but for the price, it’s the best relief I’ve gotten from any shoe so far. The fit is solid but breathable, and they’ve held up well with daily use. I wear them both on trails and around town, and they’ve given me reliable traction and comfort every time. For under $70, it honestly feels like I got a much more expensive shoe. If you’re dealing with foot pain and don’t want to break the bank, I highly recommend giving these a shot. They’ve made a real difference for me. ... show more

Great comfortable sneakers with good cushioning, perfect for daily runs. They have decent grip on surfaces and provide good foot support. If you plan to run a lot, choose a size 1.5 to 1 size larger.The price matches the quality.They feel quite light on the foot and look stylish, suitable both for city wear and for their intended use. Nice shoes, but seem to cause my back and hips to be sore after a few days wearing them. This may be an individual problem so I have rated the shoes based upon their build quality and how they feel in hand. They have lots of traction as well. I have had Asics Gel Venture 5, and several pairs of 6, but they are impossible to find anymore so I tried these out. I have since tried Sketchers Slip ins, which were nice at first, but wore out in less than 6 months so I am now wearing Merrell to see if paying more is worth it. ... show more

Asics are my favorite walking shoe. I try to walk every day for at least 4-5 miles and these shoes hold up to that very well. The craftsmanship and materials are excellent and the shoes give excellent support. This is my third pair of ASICS and the quality is the same as the first pair I purchased. The shoes do fit tighter than a lot of other similar shoes but, that is something I’m looking for. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a quality walking shoe at a reasonable price. ... show more

Love the insole of these, very comfortable and gives good support to my feet when wearing them. I wear Asics brand sneakers quite a bit and these are probably my favorite ones so far.     • looks like a quality shoe but not for my feet

I've been wearing Asics for a while but had to return these as they just don't feel right. When I first put them on I noticed pressure on the top of my toes. At first I thought maybe I need to go up half a size, but my feet are narrow so anything longer would also probably be too wide. On further inspection I noticed the shape of the sole sort of forces your toes to stretch upward into a dorsiflexion position (look it up). Maybe that's good for running but I found it very uncomfortable. Anyway I'm giving three starts because the shoe is well put together and may be perfect for someone's feet, just not mine. ... show more

These are my husbands favorite style of shoes! We have been buying asics for years, they provide great support on a budget for a runner. They fit fairly true to size, but are wide enough that we don’t need to buy a wide width shoe. If you are looking for an every day wear, these are excellent for that too! Comfortable and right-sized for my size 11-1/2 men's feet. The soles are a bit harder than I remember for similar ASICS products, so running creates more noise than the ASICS GT-1000 13s.
