I wasn’t sure how I’d like these because the toe box felt a little weird when standing at first, but I didn’t like the other pair of athletic sneakers I had and I was leaving for a trip in 2 days so I gave them a chance. Couldn’t feel the toe box weirdness at all when walking, which broke them in. Also…I forgot my hiking boots when in Berkeley, California. These shoes helped me up a trail so steep it’s called The Escalator. I hiked up and down dirt and rocks and dips and only fell when I got distracted by a dog. My friend in her Nikes practically slid down the mountain. I bought this for my daily 4.5 mile walks and they’re great for those too, but they can handle way more!

my heals WERE killing me to no end, tried 6 other sneakers and different inserts...google search led to top sneakers for heal and foot pain led me to these ASICS Women's GT-1000 11 Running Shoes.so i ordered them 9.5 woman's . immediate noticeable relief with in 3 DAYS, 3 WEEKS i was walking with no pain!!!!!!!!!!! planter fasciitis is healed. NO inserts or heal pads required.These are orthopedic sneakers.I 100% recommend! Im a size 9.5 woman's fit just right. could do a 10 woman's if i had to. don't be alarmed loosen up laces and fit foot in then adjust to your feet. Once set up to your feet, very comfortable.Give them a chance to heal you.

Once I tried my running/walking shoes and walked in them, feels light but most importantly feel great relief on my knees and feet which I have suffered in the past with plantar fasciitis....I bought 9 1/2.. which I usually wear and fit just right.

I'm not a runner so can't comment on whether they are good for that. They are comfortable. Interestingly, I have very narrow feet and generally find most walking/running shoes quite wide. These are narrower than expected. I like this but if you have wider feet you may want a wider width, or a different style.

Sneakerama in Auburn told me to always go up a shoe size when purchasing these sneakers. So I’m a 7, I went with a 7.5 and the fit is always perfect. I’ve bought several ASICS and the price/style of these were FANTABULOUS! Not to mention comfy.

I like a more subdued sneaker that doesn’t have a ton of colors that don’t match what I’m wearing. These are navy and blue and match all my navy stuff whether I’m coordinating with any other color. They’re comfortable and feel supportive. I walked almost an hour in them and feet felt fine.
