    • Low stack height and firm ride
These are great shoes I love the firm ride they give. I am definitely not a fan of the recent trend of trail and run running shoes going to the squishy super soft cushion. Not something I want while on the trail. The medium cushioning allows me to feel the trail under foot which allows me to have a better connection to the ground. it’s not a shoe for ultras where extra cushioning would preserve the feet for longer but for 3-10 mile trail runs and rucks with 48 lb pack there are great shoes. I did purchase Super Feet insole but that is to preserve my high arch. I am sure folks with a normal arch would have no problem. This perspective is from almost 80 trail miles on the shoes in the last three months. Winter is coming and so is the wet weather. I am looking forward to it with these shoes. ... show more

I brought the orange black and green. I absolutely love ASICS sneakers. Highly recommended. Extremely comfortable. I only upset part on my end is they run big. (Not sure if it’s because I got my current pair locally and got the these brought in) both the same size however, this pair was a HALF size BiG. So now I have to order another pair. Let's talk about fitting your feet and keeping your ankles synched. I wore Reebok hightops. Old school black, leathers. My feet gradually got sore and then ended up with some really bad stiff ankles and Achilles issues. I just got these Asics last Thursday. I wore them all day and evening on Friday and Saturday and on Sunday as well. My Achilles are healed but I've still have had gut wrenching dull pain. In one full day, my anckes don't hurt. My left foot doesn't hurt. My right hip popped and is no longer sore. I've been wearing Asics since I was 15 years old. 38 years I've worn Asics! I wear Reebok hightops for one year and had nothing but issues. I was seduced by the style and nostalgia of those Reeboks. I should have stuck with my Asics trail running shoes. I don't run anymore but they made everything right and pain gone away fast! ... show more
