I have been running in ASICS my whole life. I was not sure about these shoes due to the very large heel. These are by far the most comfortable running shoes ASICS has ever made! The exaggerated heels provide amazing cushioning and truly make running much easier on all of your joints!

This shoes works very well. For a heavier fellow with wide feet, the amount of support and bounciness that the shoe delivers is terrific. The is nearly the same after a few months of heavy use and no rips in the toe area yet. Great for someone not in shape to transition into being active again. The fit is great, the material is light, breathable and dries easily. The foam l, unfortunately, is not as durable and has started to shave off after a week of use. If you’re worried that the foam looks ridiculously thick in the product photo worry not, it’s not as thick when you see it in person.

Feet felt like it was being pampered with cushioning surrounding each foot. You can feel your foot sinking in the cushioning but not too much, which is perfect for doing slow comfortable run sessions. With that said, the shoe is too heavy to do tempo runs without feeling a bit unstable. Overall it's very very good at what it is made for!

There are quite a number of variations in the gel Nimbus collection. At the time of purchase, this was the newest version I believe. It was very comfortable, but I ended up returning it, first off because I needed a half size larger than I usually wear, but also because I ended up purchasing the gel Nimbus 25 because it was very similar and much cheaper. I find the quality to be very good, I enjoy the mash elastic tongue that I can almost wear without shoelaces, which is great because I do not like tight shoes. They are very squishy and bouncy, which is very nice. I am a little concerned that because of that, they may wear out more quickly And lose that squishy bounciness. They are definitely on a cloud though, I can definitely say that! Impressed with the initial quality. I also love all of the different color schemes you can choose from.
