I have delicate lower extremities due to a long history of stress fractures and very high arches, so i exclusively wear Asics of some variety for everything. Previously had Nimbus 22s for trainers which were great, then got these 24s and they're ridiculously comfy. Arch support is fantastic, insole is fantastic, but the soul itself and heel cup is where this shines. It's very spongy and spring-y. At first you'll need to get used to it because it almost feels like you're wearing a tempurpedic trampoline LOL. No i'm serious, i immediately started stomping and jumping on pavement and felt zero discomfort, kinda crazy. The tongue is not bad at all, it's just a strange design: very thin and elastic, you need to yank it up hard before lacing to avoid pressure points. Otherwise it feels comfy, wouldnt mind it on other shoes tbh. Finally, these are super light weight, almost like slippers. Not a major con it just requires some fine motor re-learning. Bought a second pair once i read theyre discontinued.

This is my second pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 24's. I went to Fleet Feet and was fitted for this shoe. It wasn't on my radar at all, I'm generally a Nike guy. But after all the measurements they do they recommended this show to me. I loved it as soon as I tried it on. Been working out in them for months (Camp Gladiator). So this pair that I bought from Amazon is the second pair...to wear around, I'll still use the first pair for workouts. The shoe is incredibly comfortable and has proven quite durable so far as well. Since it's now last year's model, the sale price on Amazon was too much to pass up.

This shoe makes you feel like your walking on a cloud! I use them for weight training and general indoor/outdoor fitness. They are light weight and very well cushioned. I read some of the reviews that were negative in regard to the tongue design, but it stays put and is in-line with the light weight materials used in the construction of the rest of the shoe, so I see it as a plus, not a negative. If you prefer some of the other "heavier" constructed Asics shoe models, which I have bought in the past and am fine with, then you will probably not like these. But this is a great built shoe that should hold up just as well as the heavier models, just a sleeker and lighter shoe that I find suits all-purpose usage. I am a mechanical engineer, so build quality is high on my list of "must haves". I highly recommend this shoe!

I have been wearing Ascis running shoes for ten years now and have always been more than satisfied with my purchases, but this recent pair has be scratching my head as to what Ascis is doing. The tongue of these shoes are so limber that slipping your feet into the shoes required you bend over and pull the tongue back up to it's proper place. The heel colapses also when you put the shoes on. . ... I will try Ascis shoes again, but if they are like these, I will return them and purchase another brand. Thank you for hearing my rant.

I bought two pairs of ASICS running shoes at the same time. Both pairs same size and wide width. The other pair fits Perfectly but this style seems narrower, even though the size marked on the shoe shows the wide width. Not so tight that I would return, but, had I known, I would have gone extra wide On this style.

This is the 2nd pair of these running shoes. The shoe is a perfect fit and gives great support for a daily runner. I do about 2 miles per day and they hold up pretty well. The material frays a little after time, but the support they create around the toes really helps you feel supported.
