I've been running in these shoes for years and they are great. I use them for running only and they last 6 to 8 months and then my knees tell me it is time for a new pair. I run 10 to 15 miles a week. Once they have been retired from running I wear them for everything else but running and they last for a long time. I have discovered that if I wear my new running shoes for everyday use and especially while weight lifting at the gym they do not last as long for running.

This is my 2nd pair of this brand and model. I went a half size larger but both pairs are great. With bone on bone knees, and reluctant to get TKR, I did some reading on Amazon on different gym shoes and decided on these. The first pair were so comfortable I decided to get a 2nd pair to use exclusively for the gym. Great support and the ortho feature seem to help my knees. So far so good. Between the 2 pairs I'm on month 4 using these full time. Even did a light hike in pair 1 of 3 miles with some up and down elevation and they worked great. I plan to continue with these as my go-to shoes.

I ran my 18s into the dirt. Then I got 17s and they were horribly stiff and unconfortable. The 19s were small and odd fitting. So I went to brooks ghost after that. Then I tried going back to the nimbus and purchased the 23s and BOOOM!! Perfection again. These are my second pair of 23s and I may order more before they change them again. (Casual supinator Runner, 15 miles/week ave)

Didn’t realize the tightness from all the shoes I’ve worn on the sides of my feet was abnormal until I tried these on. I’ve never worn a more comfortable shoe. I have really wide feet and these feel secure but not tight at all. They felt amazing stock, didn’t have to break them in. And they are affordable? How?

These sneakers fit so nice. My husband didn't have to break them in. He wears them to the gym and to walk the dogs and has not had knee pain since wearing them. Yaaaaay me for finding them for him!!!! They have a nice cushion to them and the arch support is great. This is the man who has sworn for the last 10 years that only 1 sneaker ever fits him right... which btw are not a great choice for the gym and walking but he is stubborn!

This is an excellent shoe! Asics is back to basics with this one, excellent fit, excellent support, perfect cushioning. After the fiasco with the Asics lite-show this one continues to long line of excellence of the Nimbus Line. I have been wearing Nimbus since Nimbus 8 primarily to protect my knees since I run long distance almost every day. The Nimbus 23 is probably the best of the series I have used. Not sure what the longevity will be yet, we'll see. The Lite-Show lasted less than 50 miles before serious wear. This one already has more than that after a few runs and is great

I’m a PT. I’ve often suggested to my patients to wear Brooks, New Balance, and Asics. Recently, Brooks made a change that has adversely affected their quality, in my opinion. Asics, however, just keeps wearing well and working great. I suggest changing out for a new pair every few months, as all shoes break down. Take care of your feet, and you’ll take care of your body. I’m on pair 3 or 4 of this model. Love them!
