I work in retail and I am on my feet 8-10 hrs a day. These are by far the best shoes I have ever had. My feet/legs feel so much better at the end of the day compared to all the shoes I’ve owned before. The top is mesh, so my feet can get a little cold if I’m outside on a cold day (and wet on rainy days). But I will buy these again.

About 8 years ago ASICS changed the design a bit, causing me and many others to scream bloody murder. However, since then, this shoe has been the model of consistency. I'm hard on shoes. I'm 190 pounds. Most of my training is on hills (3-4 miles 4X/week) plus sprints on the track. Making things tougher on the shoe, I wear a custom orthotic that corrects for significant supination. Despite all this, my last pair lasted 11 months. And this pair, that I first used today, fits perfectly, requiring no break-in. I tend toward a toe-strike, and have tried shoes with that as the design point--they didn't compare at all. For years I burned through trainers. No more. For the last decade, these have been the most consistent and durable trainers I've ever used.

the width is much more narrow than in the past and the sizing is a full size smaller than expected. Buy a full size more and a width greater than ordinary. Other than that the shoe is a quality build and attractive coloring I had to exchange my purchase Whenever a company selling wide shoes uses a zigzag lacing system that is a clear tipoff that the shoe is designed to accomodate the wider width with loose lacing.
