I run a lot, and walk a lot. The Nimbus 23 is my most favorite Nimbus ever, and I have tried many versions. Some of my best timed runs has been with the Nimbus 23. It's a perfect fit and design for me. I run 10-15 miles a week, and walk another 10 miles on top of that. I wear out running shoes pretty quickly and have gone through three pairs of the Nimbus 23 in one year. I may even go back for a fourth pair.

I've been buying Asics for years. I've tried different models but always go back to Nimbus. I bought the 23 over new models based just on looks. I think the newer ones are ugly. One thing that I found odd was that Amazon and Asics.com both recommended a half size up based on my other shoes. I didn't take that advice and was glad I didn't. My regular size(10.5) fit perfect. I would recommend.

I can see what other reviewers meant when they said buy a half size larger than normal, but for me, the shoe was fine after a week. I wear these everywhere, to work, gym, and grocery shopping. The insole is great and the shoe is very breathable.

The holes for the laces go up too far towards the ankle. Had to omit the top two holes for the shoe to be comfortable -- and I have very thin ankles.

I work in retail and I am on my feet 8-10 hrs a day. These are by far the best shoes I have ever had. My feet/legs feel so much better at the end of the day compared to all the shoes I’ve owned before. The top is mesh, so my feet can get a little cold if I’m outside on a cold day (and wet on rainy days). But I will buy these again.
