I couldn't fit my orthotics in these shoes, but still gave them a try. I don't need the orthotics as they are supportive. These shoes make it easier to operate the pedals when I drive, as my shoes don't slip off the pedals, which wasn't safe. These shoes have really helped my husband's feet. He has callus and the support and padding in the shoes have provided him with relief from the pain. The arch support keeps the pressure off of the callus. This is the second pair I have ordered for him so he has a pair to wear around the farm and a pair to wear when we go to town. Just got these shoes and haven’t been wearing them long, but they are so comfortable in comparison to the new balance shoes they replaced… also look very sharp. I am hopeful that the uppers wear well since they are constructed of that thin stretchy material. Quick, you wanna buy some before the tariffs go into into effect! At first this shoe - size 12 regular - didn’t support my high-arched feet well. I discovered the problem was that the insole it came with was too narrow especially underneath my arches. Thus my feet were being squeezed downward as I ran. I tried substituting the wider insole that came with my Asics Gel-Dedicate tennis shoes - also size 12 regular. This worked.
