I ordered this to take on vacation to minimize smoke and ash smell. It worked quite well. I originally thought it was quite light when I first got it, but that is truly a benefit. There is a snubbing post in the center of the cup part to extinguish your cigs then drop the butt to the bottom and replace the lid. No mess, no smell. I bought the black XL. It’s just as described. The weight is just right, the reduction of smoke and smell is really amazing actually! It is sleek, not one person would guess it’s an ashtray! It cleans easily, and when dried, looks brand new. I love it. Truly, it’s perfect.

Great capacity, I've had other ashtrays with lids and they eventuality the lid starts getting stuck and I don't see that happening with this design. It's sturdy and does NOT knock over easily
