The media could not be loaded. Honestly I wasn’t expecting much when I saw the box it came it. The box was totally trashed and I was scared to open it. Luckily the guitar wasn’t majorly damaged. My guitar has some cosmetic scratches at the bottom but nothing too off putting. The only thing that gets me is the massive booty hole mark on the front of my guitar. Its a Decent guitar. Plays well, needs to be tuned out of box and holds tone pretty well after the first few plays. Great for a starter guitar. Some minor dents on the back of the neck but nothing to write home about. I haven’t plugged it up to amp yet but will update when I do. ... show more

I originally gave this a good rating, but I have to change it. The guitar looks pretty good in spite of the low price. I got a green one, and it has a few small black spots in the green, so it's not perfect, but I consider that to be minor. I didn't find any chips or scratches. The gig bag is pretty nice but the shoulder straps are narrower than I'd like. Still, it's better than most of the ones with cheap guitars, and even gig bags with more expensive guitars. The strap and cable are cheap but will do the job. Tuners, the bridge, etc... are typical cheap parts for a guitar in this price range. Here is a list of problems I've run into in setting up this guitar: There wasn't any fret sprout when I got it, but it has developed as the guitar adapts to my local climate. It's minor, and not the fault of the guitar. This is common around here. The cuts are smooth. However, there are a few rough spots along the edge of some of the cuts, and the frets needed polished. There is nothing that would cut me, but I can feel it. Sadly, there are a lot of dead frets. Places where it won't play notes because the next lower fret is too high. And it's not just a couple places. Sadly, I didn't know about this sort of thing till after I couldn't return it. I'm going to have to file the frets in a lot of places. The strings are cheap and appear to be number 9's. Replace em. The saddles were set all the way at the top and there was still string buzz. After adjusting the neck with the truss rod, I was able to lower the saddles a lot, but the nut was cut wrong for the larger 3 strings (E A D). Because of this, the action is still higher than it should be, and the nut will eventually have to be replaced, though this may partially be due to the fret issue. They also failed to sand off the end of the nut where it protrudes over the edge of the neck. Tuning was a problem at first so I snugged the screws on the back side of the tuners, tightened the screws on the heads to increase the friction, and had to rewind the low E string better. This seemed to help, as tuning became less frequent, but I ended up having to tighten the nuts on the front of the tuners as well after a couple weeks when tuning went completely nuts overnight. This helped, but I still have to tune some strings daily. I planned on replacing the tuners eventually, but this may determine how soon I need to do that. Even if the tuning is fixed, none of this stuff should have been left as loose as it was. The intonation wasn't set, and I thought I had it worked out, but it wasn't quite right. Once I measured the distance from the nut to the saddles I understood why. The bridge seems to be too close and the saddles have to go all the way back. As I started measuring the bridge for replacement parts, I ran across another issue. The bridge and pick guard are touching. This might not be an issue on a fixed bridge, but It might cause binding when pitch bending, so I either have to redo all the screw holes for the pick guard, or trim the edges of the pick guard. It's fixable, but it never should have happened, and this may be causing some of the tuning issues. Which brings me the main reason why I gave it a single star rating. Besides having cheap parts, sloppy assembly, and no setup whatsoever, it has one feature that cannot be fixed. This guitar is based on an older strat with narrow string spacing. This makes the number of upgrade parts limited. I originally planned on building this into a good guitar by swapping out components, but that will certainly be more difficult now. The saddles are only 10mm wide, and E to E string spacing for a new nut is 33.4mm if I remember right. One nut was listed on Amazon matching that size, and the bridge I wanted to upgrade to won't fit. The narrow spacing may also make it more difficult for players (like me) with large hands to adapt to. I can't say that for certain, but I have to think Fender stopped making strats with this spacing for a reason. Guitar listings should include string spacing information. Buyer beware.     • A little set-up goes a long way...
TL:DR = a decent guitar with solid foundations that with some TLC is a great beginner guitar or modification platform but requires a professional set-up. Just know what you're getting into and you won't be disappointed The good: Fundamentally a solid guitar with good finishing. Neck was seated well, frets weren't popping out, no major construction issues. Sounds "strat-like" as intended. Neck feels good finish wise and has more of a classic profile than say an equivalent Squier. The Meh: A few little black spots in the finish that are mostly unnoticeable unless inspecting close up. The Bad: You need to know how to or be willing to pay a professional to set this guitar up. It's a good basic guitar but doesn't get a solid set up in the factory; it comes playable and that's it. Nothing was tightened up much; loose tuners, screws loosely tightened in pickguard, etc. While frets were trimmed and lightly dressed, they were a bit rough at the edge of the fingerboard and definitely need polishing as they play (and sound) gritty from the factory. Finally, the guitar arrived with what appears to be factory tooling marks on the headstock that just didn't get caught in the loose QC, shipper refunded me $18 (roughly 1/5th) for the blemish. All that said, for the asking price and the price of a set-up, it's still a good deal. I'm basically using the body and neck as a platform for a heavily modified version of this guitar with new everything ... show more

So this is my first electric guitar so I’m a not a genius on this matter but I do know this I do have to tune a bit like every practice which is good practice it play fine and easy to play but I’m on day 2 and the amp cable is kind faulty like I have to buy a new other than that every thing is great
